I guess that’s the only thing this country has left that’s conservative...they don’t want the gays to marry.
Tax us to death, create a welfare state, fine.
Just don’t let the homos marry.
Look, I’m against gay marriage too, but this country just voted for a man who will support gay rights.
Go figure.
One beacon of light.
That’s great news. We’ll have a Socialist country where homos will be in the same concentration camp as taxpayers, capitalists, smokers, Christians and unborn children.
Yipppeee! We win.
Good night.
In a lot of ways, this is more important than the presidency. Marriage between a man and a woman is the foundation of civilized society. We can recover from fake president Obama, but the marriage issue would be very difficult to get back.
Hate to douse cold water, but the early votes in California are the most conservative. The avalanche of Bay Area votes will most likely bury this.
Too soon to get excited yet since we don’t know where that percentage is coming from in the state, but at this point I’ll take any glimmer of good news.
LA county showing 53% to 47% in favor, that is going to hurt the the pro-homsexual crowd.

If McClintock wins then I’ll be somewhat cheered up. Otherwise I’ll jump out the window.
Fortunately my house is only a single floor :)
Now the donkeys are responsible for everything that’s ahead and CAN’T BLAME REPUBLICANS.
McClintock 70,622 51%
Brown 67,269 49%
Tom pulling ahead!
CA Prop 8 will win big.
At least there is some conservatism left in the U.S.
We tried so hard here to battle the no on 8 protesters with counter rallies on the street corners. I hate all this crap. The media, the money and the liberal teachers destroying the hearts and minds of our children.
I am so bummed about tonight.
Nationally the results look bad, but here in CA I’d say we did a good job.
If props 8 and 11 pass and McClintock gets in I’d say conservatives did pretty well this election in CA.
Please let proposition four (parental notification of abortion) pass!
why would yes on 8 be good? that’d be bad
So much for the will of the people.
Sorry, but that means nothing at this point.
The small counties in California report first and are generally much more conservative than the large cities (LA and the Bay Area). The liberal vote comes in much later in California as those large cities start to report.
