Will there ever be another election after this one?
If we will stand up as Americans and fight for what is right as individuals, there will be.
By the way, I predict a McCain/Palin win (even in California!)
Wishful thinking on my part, I know, but there is no reason to borrow gloom. Plenty of time for that if necessary. Until then, be optimistic.
Philip Berg is scheduled on Coast-To-Coast AM radio tonight for an update at 1:00 AM EST
I keep hoping for a New York win. There’s a gaping hole in Manhatten and the guys who put it there would love an obama presidency.
Wouldn’t that be AWESOME! Americans united behind one of our own! From California to New York. Love the thought.
We like McCain here in California, warts and all. However, we do have the problem of SF and LA. Well, no state is perfect. Those two should have been separated, though!
I agree with your statement. obama’s intention all along is to get elected and use the leverage so that Americans have to make a choice.
He is a fraud and will go down as one of the greatest cons in American history.
Interesting to note that the Grandmother has a small American flag on her wall along with the pictures. Quite a difference from her grandson who loathes it.
Otherwise he would have shown the vault copy of his BC,,,
Add : Illegal Alien and Terrorist ...
I agree. I think that the father on his birth certificate is either Frank Marshall Davis and his name contains one of the three - He is either Barry Frank Dunham or Frank Barry Dunham,Davis Barry Dunham or Barry Davis Dunham or Barry Marshall Dunham - he could be Frank Marshall Dunham. Heck he could be Frank Marshall Davis II.
He may have unknown as father on his birth certificate and assumed the name of Barack Hussein Obama.
The birth certificate connects to his college transcripts.
If he was born in Kenya and his mother put that he was Kenyan on all his school records and he was given a scolorship because he was Kenyan then all of the records in college would have to be hidden too.
So - either he is hiding his the fact that his grandparents and parents were communists and he was a communist in college or he is hiding the fact that not only was he born in Kenya but represented himself as Kenyan all through school.
County and State or Foreign Country.
In that case the entry was Honolulu. The date of the certificate was 1963. I believe such a certificate if too damaging, will never see the light of day. Only a copy that might exist somewhere could tell the tale. The informant of the details of the birth was- I believe, was entitled to a vault copy.
It will be interesting no matter what happens what the mainstream GOP does and how that side will react, business as usual or more activism than before?
Will we all come together? I don't see it, just more anger and divisiveness on both sides. Is that good for the country? No, but better than giving up our rights and values without protest or a sudden veer to who knows what, depending?
At the end of that Brokaw-Rose video I found and posted to the Rush transcript thread regarding same Brokaw said at very end starting about 52:00
"I think that the election of 2008 will be, to use a well-worn phrase of mine, in bold print at the front of chapters in the history books, and I think that people will look back on this time and say it was the beginning of a new era in American life; it is 1932 all over again; uh or it's 1917 and the world, and we'll see whether we were up to it."
You have to listen to it in context, domestic issues, undercurrent of Islamic rage, global climate change, and alternative energy. Those words are chilling when you consider what was happening in the world in those years and what followed each. I don't know why he put it that way or to what extent he intended them, WWI, communism, worldwide depression, WWII, naziism.
I get the sense that they don't regard Obama as a threat but transformational despite earlier exchanges in the Rush transcript, which were spread throughout segments and not contiguous, unless they were repeated.
I am always optimistic, but I must confess that regardless of the election turnout, I am uneasy.
I see so much fraud and deceit. So many raw power grabs. So much excusal of all things evil.
I am unbelievably horrified by the media and their complete and total push of one candidate at the expense of truth, justice, a concept of right and wrong or anything else relevant.
Without a free media and an informed electorate, we perish. However, we have the internet and many, many informed and active citizens. Citizens who don’t need “activists” to stir us up. Citizens who can tell right from wrong and no amount of spin or cover up will work. When we see or hear something profoundly wrong, we know it.
I am so concerned about our schools and our apparently total lack of ethics or civics - along with terrorists who apparently run the asylums called the University of (fill in the blank).
Anyway, I choose to believe that there are still enough informed, caring, educated citizens to make a difference.
Then, we go on from there.
I like John McCain, warts and all. At least you know what you are getting when you get him, and you know he will always try to do the right thing for America. Even when it is hard. You know he might ask you to sacrifice, but it won’t be so he can “spread the wealth around”. It will be to correct a great wrong.
Hopefully he gets elected and we can work really hard and leave our children as wonderful a country as we inherited.
Thanks
Ironically, the Mormons have the best chance to pull through the years to come because of their cohesiveness, collective survival skills and ability to network. I don't know what will become of the Amish and Mennonites. The Catholics are a house divided. Most Protestants are a lost cause except the simple, humble ones who adhere to sound teaching. I don't know where I fit in. I stand on my faith and hope that my anger is righteous.
There are just too many huge problems, we can't agree on how to confront them, and I think the American experiment will ultimately prove that men (and women) cannot solve the enormous problems that confront us. Our good opinions of ourselves and intellectual achievements make no impression on him. The point will be to prove people are incapable of governing themselves, and only the people mentioned in Daniel, whoever and wherever they are will understand what is happening and why.
I hope I am wrong.
The State of Hawaii could not Seal a document that does not exist.
You are totally missing the point.
You can have a Birth Certificate from Hawaii without being a Natural Born Citizen.
Obama's half sister has one, she was born in Indonesia.
It was used to fabricate the forgery on Obama's website.
I was born overseas to American parents a couple years after Obama was born. Instead of a birth certificate from a county or state, I have a birth certificate from the U.S. Embassy in the country of my birth. Thus, if Obama was born in Kenya the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi would have a record of his birth.
Find that, and you can prove that he was not born in Hawaii.
Please explain how one could have a Hawaii Birth Certificate if they were not born in Hawaii?
Hello - I’m the new kid. Been lurking here for a little while and learning. Frankly, you folks have given me strength to believe good will prevail. Bless you and thank you!
The constitution is our foundation. Obama, Ayers, etc. mock it. They’re using it to start chipping away at it. Start with the birth certificate. Then...
Apparently it is, or was, possible for an American citizen to register their new born child that was born, or adopted, abroad on arrival of the child in the US. The birth certificate would indicate the place of birth.
