IBD/TIPP: O-46.7, M-44.6, U-8.7 (McCain gains 2.4 points!)

Day 21: IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll

The race tightened again Sunday as independents who'd been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates.

As long as she comes back home to the Republican party. We would treat her right as long as she washes the stank of the Reid and Pelosi off : )

Ever since Obama snapped at reporters the other day when trick or treating with his daughter, I’ve had a feeling he is not happy. I wonder what it is ;). Can anyone imagine Sarah Palin snapping at reporters while in Walmart buying diapers? How can you be running for president and walk down the street and not expect to have reporters on your tail? He should have welcomed the attention. Usually, MSM is unwelcome when it’s truly a matter of invasion of privacy of a child. Something’s eating Barry.

Yes, well then. Let's just crown Obama and forget about voting.
After all the most accurate polls ever to exist have McCain losing.
Hey, this is a wonderful tactic here on FR today.
Discouragement is wonderful. Forget TIPP has McCain gaining today which means he probably won their polling last night. F*** THAT....he's still losing, right?
Hell yea..I love it. SMELL THE NEGATIVITY!
Talk to me some more about it. I was ready to make some calls for McCain, but now I won't!!
Thanks for helping me save my time.

You are a great conservative!! WOW!

Great to see it!

I watched Fox News Sunday this morning and wanted to puke. They’ve pretty much called the race already.

Fact is, the overwhelming majority of Americans HAVE NOT VOTED YET!

We need to work and pray hard. I check FR from time to time but do not stay here when I could be doing something else more helpful to the campaign. We should all do the same!

Evidence pointing to a strong Obama day on Halloween, as many predicted, but a stronger day for McCain on Sat.

And weekends, in general, aren’t supposed to be kind to the GOP in polls. Especially this time of year, when the weather is still nice and families with kids are out and about.

If this poll is accurate, we have a great shot of winning.

I agree with Dick Morris. This election is a referendum on Obama. If he drops below 50%, he will lose because the undecideds are going to break towards McCain.

Local left wing wacko talk show today is getting all their libtards ready to take to the streets on Nov 5. Telling all 6 listeners that "with the polls the way they are, if Lord Barack Øbama does not win, it is a GIVEN the GOP stole the election just like they did in 2000 and 2004 and we will not stand for this."

That’s the frustrating thing. TIPP/IBD is one of the most accurate polls and it seems to track what other polls show — McCain is losing in everyone of them.

As long as he wins the "poll" on November 4th. All we need to do is vote and we have this thing in the bag.

Can it be although saturating the country with propaganda, the largest funded campaign in history $500 million dollars worth, tons of voters at the polls in Ohio (from other states of course, ACORN endorsing him, the most biased media blitz in history all on his side, an army in and of it’s self of ground crew banging on doors and the American people STILL DON’T WANT HIM! that could be irritating him?

Naw .. thought not.

HALLELUJAH!!! I don't see how Zero wins if he's at or below 47%.

Question: Is this the final IBD poll (I heard they don't poll on weekends because of obvious reasons)?

Also, and I don't have the link, but a republcicantrust group 527 is blasting away w/ Rev Wright ads in the battleground states. Just sent them $25, and wish I had a LOT more to send. If anyone has the link, it's for a damn good cause (saving our country, for starters).

Now this is looking MUCH better!

Even some of the Liberal Media are grudgingly admitting McCain-Palin has a chance to win, although it still feel the Liberal Messiah will probably win.

Excellent, and to pile on . . . Our overnights have McCain up 2 again, and if we "gave all the independents to Obama, he'd still only have a 47-47 tie," according to my chairman. So Obama is at 45% in our county.

Forget Ras and Gallup, my prediction last night that this is a McCain win looks better every minute.

Poll respondents who say they display the American Flag

Obama McCain
Yes 39% 52%
No 61% 31%

Most of the trackers are picking up movement to McCain.

I ventured over to look at the internals of the R2000/Daily Kook tracking poll. I’m sure it’s no surprise that the poll is extremely pro-democrat. They have the party weighting at +9D. Overall they have Obama up 7, which if reweighted, is a tie but last nights number had Obama only up 4 points. If reweighted to a more reasonable party weighting, they had McCain up in last nights number which is comfirming what TIPP picked up as well.
