America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction.
This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Samuel 24:25
David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.
if we stay faithful in prayer and intercede for america as king david interceded for israel, we will see God's answer.

Father, we look to You and You only for answers to our petitions.
Encamp Your angels around John McCain and Sarah Palin as they are going into the last days of this election.
Keep them and their families and friends safe from harm.
Give John McCain wisdom and insight as he confronts the evil forces of obama’s minions.
Let them be put to shame.
Give Sen. McCain strength as he heads to victory in this race.
Make it known to all, Sarah Palin is the perfect person to stand by John’s side as his VP.
She is gracious yet bold and honest.
Cause her handlers to be cognizant of her ability to speak truth in an unalarming manner.
Bless her with calmness and strength as she heads into this victory.
Father, I ask that You to allow confusion and calamity to come upon this enemy of life.
Let them fall in squalor that chose death, as they lose what they would do anything to get.
Cause America to recognize the fraud and liar he is, as they listen to him.
Let the American people have the blinders dropped from their eyes to see who he actually is.
Lord, we ask You for the victory that only YOU can give. And we ask these things in the Holy and Blessed Name of Jesus!

Beloved Father,
Thank You for allowing us to live in America. The greatest nation in the history of the world. We know that the reason America has been so Blessed is because our forefathers were obedient to You and they served You. We have received Blessings from You because of what they did but now, we have allowed America to be polluted by corrupt men and women who hold the highest offices in the land. They are greedy and power hungry and they will stop at nothing to reach their goals. You know that their plan is to push You out of America and to silence Christians. We don't fit into their agenda.
Now, we are in a real mess because they are running Barack Obama for President. You know him, and You know he is evil. If he wins the election he will bring much sorrow to Americans. He will destroy America. If the Democrats win because of voter fraud, it's over for us. They will add so many millions to their party that we will never win another election and the country will continue in a race for the bottom.
According to Your Word, we humbly come before You today to ask You to forgive us of our sins. Sins of commission and sins of omission. Please deliver us from evil and purge any wickedness that we have in our lives. Please Bless those who are doing what You tell us to do in 2 chronicles 7:14. Sanctify our lives to Your pleasure. May we all humbly serve You each and every day, so that You will forgive our sins and heal our land.
Abba, thank You so much for sending Sarah Palin to the GOP. She's such a Blessing to all of us. You have breathed fresh fire into our spirits by allowing her to do the amazing things she has done in such a short period of time. Please Bless and protect her, Todd, their children, along with John, Cindy and their children. Keep them from any harm. We ask You to defeat all of the Democrats, by huge numbers in popular and electoral votes so that everyone will know that it came from You. Another one who needs to go is John Murtha. He's arrogant beyond belief, and he has a very hurtful tongue. Please let him pay the price for that arrogance by allowing his "carpet bagger" opponent to win. That will be a little justice to him, and we all would enjoy it so much!
Lord, we ask You to protect and Bless all of the men and women who serve in our military. We ask You to go before them into battle showing them where the bombs are or where the enemy is hiding so that they cannot kill our troops. We ask You to heal those who have been injured, and we ask You to comfort the families of those who have been killed in the war against terror.
Father, thank You for hearing our prayers, and thank You for answering them even though Your answers are not always what we wanted. We know that You are still in control of everything and that the only thing that can change Your mind about destroying us is if Your Children, who are called by Your Name come together in prayer, as You have told us to do. We ask these things in the Name of Jesus. Amen!

Lord, we fear this man's manipulative attempts to steal our historically important election. As Americans are tempted into viewing his widespread broadcast, Lord, brace and protect them. Secure our Christian families and friends in the Blessed Name of Your Son, Jesus.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Prayers for our candidates. Amen.
That we would know as much about salvation through Jesus Christ and be able to argue every angle against sin, that we know about Obama and why his presidency would harm the world. Give us the same fire in our bellies, to save the lost, as we have to stop Obama! Let us pray as hard for your Kingdom, as we have prayed for our earthly government. Let us be as grieved for the Lost of this world as we have grieved for the potential loss of our earthly freedom. Let our hearts cry out against the sins and the loss of freedom that sin brings, as we have against this political enemy of freedom.
Forgive us Father that we, like our President, have mixed the blood of Jesus Christ with the powers of this world. We have looked for the answers to our earthly problems among the enemies of your Kingdom. Oh Lord how we have shamed ourselves and brought calamity to our land! Please forgive us. Your word says if we confess our sin, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Please do so through your Holy spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We are ashamed and humbled. Please do not look upon our sin, look upon our repentant hearts, washed by the blood of Jesus; and rise up in us. Forgive us and deliver us; resurrect in us, your changing power; resurrect in our nation the mighty power that made us great-—YOU! Lord, bless each of your children with the wisdom, courage, ability and desire to fight for your Kingdom even harder; give us the power to fight against the dark powers and kingdoms that destroy our families and neighborhoods; and who would take over our country; as hard, or harder than we have fought against Obama! Thank you. This does encourage me! It shows that indeed God is calling us to prayer, all of us..a person is not motivating us, but the Spirit of God is! How wonderful! We are all of one mind in Jesus Christ. Australians have even sent me an email telling their people to Pray for our election.
We all recognise the truth of who Obama is, and the Sprit is preparing us for mighty work.
Obama is not a giant that can not be defeated. Remember Caleb and Joshua, who realised that any enemy can be defeated by God! Obama is no problem.
Let God arise, and his enemies scatter! Praise the Lord.
Oh Lord, Almighty God, I pray and ask that Sarah Palin and John McCain would totally depend on you. That they would not look to others for their salvation....their deliverance from the evil of their enemies; that they would not look to their advisors; nor their own intellect; I pray that they would not even look to history or armaments, but that they would look to you. Depend on you. That they would shun all other religions and abominations; and keep their eyes only on you. Do not allow them to be bullied, nor mocked into insulting you. Thank you Lord. Thank you. Been on my knees all morning!
Amen! I, along with several friends, will be fasting on 11/3 and 11/4. Through prayer, supplication, and fasting we will ask God to move in the hearts of Americans everywhere to vote McCain/Palin.
