If he had to re-apply, he would probably have to lie on the paperwork again as far as any aliases or other AKA’s (Barry Dunham, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Obama), Barack Hussein Obama II, etc), and admission of drug use/abuse.
Real lawyers sometimes have to do a little productive work.
Well, maybe it’s because he doesn’t plan to step down if he becomes President, er “Chairman”, of the country, therefore would have no use for a law license. If he does, indeed, win this election, there will be no further elections, no Constitution to swear to protect and uphold, and eventually no citizen would have “standing” for any law suits at all. “The State” would rule on all cases.
If the “Democrats” retain their majority, or gain 60% of Congressional seats, O’s power would increase tenfold, and no filibusters would be possible. This sounds like absolute power to me. How about you?
LOL. Most of my time is spent raising kids and in church related activities. I can’t drink, because I found out alcohol was my migraine trigger. :(
It really killed me to shell out good money to attend the mandatory alcohol and substance abuse seminar every time I needed to renew. Here I was, the squeeky clean mama of three little children making my biennial treck to the big city to have a panel of reformed alcoholics and druggies lecture to me how to fight my addictions.
Since all laws are based on the constitution, and 0bama thinks the constitution is fundamentially flawed against the poor and the oppressed, why bother?
I had heard a month ago that this was the arraingement made to avoid being disbarred for not revealing his previous names.

Don’t want to hijack the thread but it sounds like you are from NC (me too). You are definitely not alone in your dislike of that requirement. I take the requirement all over the state to the smaller cities. Hopefully if you return to practice, I will meet you in a seminar (coming soon, to a city near you).
We have inactive status here in TX for a nominal fee...and no CLE reqts. In Mn, as long as I’m in TX, I can claim out-of-state inactive status as well, and pay no fees for MN...so just TX fees.
I’m in Ohio. Insanity reigns here as well, as we all know during this election cycle.

Obama believes that he won’t need his law license any more. He plans on being President for Life, just like his idols, Fidel Castro, Idi Amin Dada, Joseph Stalin and others.
This boy is going to be in for a rude awakening on November 5 when he figures out that he didn’t get elected.
