Ouch.

Obama is a foolish clown and I’m not sure what that makes Biden.

Johnny Mac and his team are doing well ... but they need to be regularly busting above 50% as the race is now his to lose, not Barry O’s to win.

I think Barry already lost. There are a lot more people who will absolutely, in now way, ever, in a million zillion years, vote for Obama.

“I think Barry already lost. There are a lot more people who will absolutely, in now way, ever, in a million zillion years, vote for Obama.”

Let’s not forget the dead, fictional, and redundant voters who have already cast ballots for Barry O ... thanks to the efforts of groups like ACORN.

A little higher than I would expect, but with Hotline and Reuters swinging so widely to Obama, maybe there is just a lot of volatility in the electorate right now.

I want team McCain to focus in on the economy now and not out do Obama with promises of more regulation, more taxes, more government.

How about calling out Frankiln Raines on Obama’s staff?

If the numbers are this close you know in the Real World that they’re much better for our side. :)

I once said the said thing about myself and Juan.

Things change.

The methodology is a bit different with this survey. They didn't give the name of the candidates, but just asked who the person was voting for.

The result has to have the Dems tearing their hair out. The underlying message seems to be that Obama hasn't gotten enough media exposure.

No, they say alot. Very valuable tools, but so many people try to make every poll a personal assault or support for their candidate.

Polls are like threads on Freerepublic. You read them with a grain of salt and see if you can figure out what is really happening by spotting patterns and trends.

Calls were made September 7th through the 11th. Kind of old. Unfortunately, things have been trending Obama’s way since then.

I'm worried about voter fraud in Virginia. Alexandria manages to “find” votes in certain precincts even for city council elections. Now with NARAL “catholic” Kaine and crazy Webb in the mix, I worry.

This summer my husband was up for Va license renewal. They insisted he bring in more ID. Wouldn't take his Navy ID and he came home for his birth certificate and passport. I'm assuming they were profiling as he is Italian and a little Mediterranean looking. However, even though they tortured him over his license (find with me) they did offer him voter registration.

Why doesn’t RealClear Politics include this and the ARE poll?

The reports were much more widespread in 2004. IIRC, ACORN signed up well over a million new Democrats or something like that. But it turned out to be just riffraff looking to get their $2 per-registration bounty and registering stuff from phone books and nothing much happened Election Day.

Besides which, I laugh at the concept that all the newly registered college students are going to show up and vote on Election Day. Everyone I knew back then had a hard time getting up at 2 PM and tended to be too lazy to walk all the way to the cafeteria. We talked a much bigger game then.

VA won't turn red. I lived there some years. I don't believe the VA polls any more than I believe all the WA polls showing a tie.

Look, remember the Swift Boat ads? They worked. We need to pulverize Obama by exposing- on national broadcast media- his love-fest with Bill Ayers and Saul Alinsky. Starting October 25th, I’d like to see these ads rain down upon the sheeple. Put them out there just in time to make the effect, but before Obama can try to deconstruct them.
Secondly, this issue about Obama’s citizenship should be brought up also. He has yet to provide a vault-copy of his birth certificate, and the one posted on his website- which is unreadable it’s so small- has been reviewed by three forensic experts and has been shown to be a fraud, right out of the Dan Rather playbook. So not only is a marxist, a racist, an America-hater, a crack smoker, a Saul Alinsky worshipper (Saul was involved in Satanism) a muslim, and a Bill Ayers worshipper running for office, but he’s also not even an American. (How could he be one even if he was born here with a litany of attributes such as listed above...)

The trend for O has been down since Rush began operation chaos last spring and its been up for McCain since he picked Palin. I don’t see a scenario of independents breaking for O unless McCain or Palin tank in the debates or are caught murdering someone on camera.
