I’m convinced that the main reason for most people’s irrational hostility to marijuana is due to its association with all of the dirty, worthless hippies of the 60s. The hippies gave pot a bad name. Funny thing is, though, that the hippies also drank a lot of alcohol, a drug which is easily more destructive than pot, yet nobody associates alcohol with hippies. Hmmmm.

Don’t agree with recreational use but I don’t see why opiates are OK to prescribe but not marijuana. Never made sense to me.
