I don't think his life story is more harrowing than John McCain's.

Biden's blessing is for the Obama campaign only. I don't think adding Biden to Obama's ticket will hurt McCain one bit EXCEPT for the possibility, indeed likelihood, that many Dems confused, perplexed or unsure about Obama will be swayed by Biden on the ticket. Thus we assume these same voters will be pulled away from McCain and in a really close race (which this one will NOT be) could affect the outcome of the vote.

My main point, and it's arguably, heh, arguable....is to those who think Biden is a negative for Obama....don't count those Blue Hens (inside joke here see if you can figure it out) before they hatch. Biden brings longevity, experience, a compelling story made for Lifetime and Oprah, credibility, PLUS a beautiful wife with a doctorate, a factoid I'm sure he pointed out for a reason, you figure it out.

Another inside Delaware story...I got a slew...is that Biden's opponent for the senate, his PUBBIE opponent, is one Christine O'Donnell.

I went last week to pick up yard signs and nowhere in sight is a Christine O'Donnell yard sign or any billboards and such. When Christine ran as an independent against Carper she had all the roads plastered with her pics etc. Delaware does have a silly month prior law for signs but our primary is 9/7/08 so a month prior would have been 8/7/08.

Also there were a couple of major events recently and for each Christine failed to show, including at that crab feast yesterday. She cancelled on that because allegedly Fox news called her for an interview on the Biden story. Somebody tell me if they chanced to see her on Fox yesterday.

She cancelled on another big event as well and for the sillest of reasons.

The pubbies have screwed over Christine since about forever and I'm wondering if she isn't doing the same this year when the pubs really, really need her.

In full disclosure, others in the political realm here in Delaware assure me she's showed up at some events but others cluck their tongues cause go on....we've got this magic Biden blessing and perhaps NO PUBBIE RUNNING AGAINST HIM!

Brokaw showed Caroline (and us lowly viewers) the McCain ad with footage from the debates when Biden said he stood by his comments about the White House not being a place for on-the-job training as well as footage of Biden praising McCain.

Brokaw asked Caroline if she was aware of Biden's comments when she made her recommendations to Obama. Caroline just kind of blew off that question and made some kind of comment that I really couldn't follow because of all those darned "ums" that dot her speech.

And Brokaw let her off; he did not ask it again.

Even with her uhmmm and ahhhing, she was still able to give evasive answers. Brokaw asked her if she had been aware of Biden’s favorable remarks about McCain as shown in the McCain ad- and she didn’t come close to answering him.

I mainly mentioned it due to the fact that the law firm mentioned in the snippet is a big time donor to Nancy Pelosi, Move On and the rest of the dem scum in the our country, including Obama.

At the very least a dual citizen. Last I read a dual citizen was allowed to run for the office of potus but can not “hold” the office, I think that is correct. Makes no sense but I think that is it.

Actually, if you want to get technical, Delaware does border Virginia but only in a small area. But yes, it does. I can get to Virginia in about a half an hour, on some of those outer islands where they run the horses.

so it’s not a big gaffe although....heh....I don’t think the rest of the country considers Delaware as bordering Virginia.
