a chinese boy have words to say to MARKUSPRIME and others

Posted on 05/13/2008 10:59:47 PM PDT by chinaboy

To: All I want to let the chinese that are really here for support know that I am sorry for being so rude, and crass during this time. Now I do not like the CCP at all and belive in democracy for everyone. I feel angry and jaded at the world at this moment in my life because someone really close to me in my family died a few weeks ago. I have had a rough year and can be very snappy and mean at times. I do apologize and my prayers go out to all the innocents lost. I was just thinking about this last night about my family and my loss and thought I would say sorry.

845 posted on 2008年5月13日 21:24:14 by MARKUSPRIME --------------------------------------------------------- Hello,MARKUSPRIME,I feel sorry about your family. Our existence is far more tenuous than we might think.Place your hand over your chest and feel your heartbeat. That is actually your life clock ticking, and one day it will stop. That is 100 percent guaranteed, and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.Like everyone else,we will have some days that are better than others.Occasionally, everything may seem like a total disaster area.Just like the tough times we have.So let us give our prayers to all kindly people and thanks to the god for we still alive.

MARKUSPRIME,I am a Chinese,15 years old student in nanning, guangxi province.I also lost my father because the cancer in 2 years ago.I felt very sad ,very helpless but didn’t felt hopeless.Because I know my father never leave away from me.And my father taught me that ever problem has a lifespan. No problem is permanent.Storms always give way to the sun.Winter always thaws into springtime. All problem will be solved. MARKUSPRIME,In this tough time, you may not be able to control the times, but you can compose your response. You can turn your pain into protanity---or into poetry.Of cause, the choice is up to you.You may not have chosen your tough time, but you can choose how you will react to it.

Life is very like a mirror:if you smile upon it ,it smiles back upon you;but if you frown and look doubtful on it ,you will get a similar look in return.Inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that come in contact with it.who shuts love out,in turn shall be shut from love.

MARKUSPRIME,I guess you have never been to china before, and you know nothing about the Chinese culture and history at all.You learn about china form the Western media. I must to say, I really don’t see any love, generosity, friendship or cooperation from the recent report of Western media and politics, except full of bias/distortion. And Most of the time, you westerns don't really realize that they are just biases - you think you're just being reasonable.

So, MARKUSPRIME,I don’t want to talk about politics, but I want to tell you about my feeling,as an ordinary Chinese. In my experience, you (American/ westerns)always believe in youselves,as you do not believe in others. You permit all things to youselves, and that which you call sin in others. So you criticize all the time.

For me, I was rich,if not meney,in sunny hours and summer days.I can go shares my beatufull time with my nearest and dearest. So,however mean my life is,I just meet it and live it;never shut it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as I am.As we know, the fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. So I love my peaceful life, poor as it is.I may perhapshave some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poor-house.The setting sun is reflected from the window of the alms-house as brightly as from yours abode. So let me be grateful that I have suffered no intolerable wrong,no terrible woe of flesh or spirit, such as my fathers(grandfathers). Is it not much to have accomplished so large a part of the mortal journey with so much ease?

This day,I pay my attention to some guys’ words, those makes me feel confused. I don’t know why do we get so hung up on what we don’t agree on,when in fact it’s our differences that make life interesting? After all, half the world is upside down,so there’s absolutely no reason why we would all agree on everything.Even something as basic and profound as”Don’t chew with your mounth open” is not as widely accepted as you might think.

Why is it that when passions are inflamed we choose to argue and fight, when dancing the cha-cha is less injurious, far more enjoyable, and equally effective in resolving thesion? And why do we feel drawn together sometimes, yet we steadily build up defensive barriers around our innermost feelings and beliefs so we can never be truly close to anyone?

I think , we all have filters on, so we mostly see only what we want to see.So, when you finally open your eyes, you may be shocked at the obscured way you have been viewing the world to suit your own little plans. With those filters removed, you can take a closer look into yourself and others.

Finally,I want to say, MARKUSPRIME,your apologetic post make me warm.So I decide to say some words to you and to all kindly American, whom pray for the vitcims in the earthquake.THANK YOU.In the end, MARKUSPRIME,I wanna say to you, tough times never last, but tough people do.Storms always give way to the sun.Winter always thaws into springtime.Your storm will pass.Your wither will thaw.Your problem will be solved. And ours too.(I expect you and all the american in this board can see what I said)

I’m so glad that you enjoy the trips. Well, I’m still a student and cannot afford the expenses for a trip right now. But I hope I can make it one day after graduation. Your country will be on my list, if possible. ‘cause I’d really like to have some real life experiences in your country, especially the Big Apple, where various kinds of cultures are mixed together... It must be fun.

And again, thanks for your prayers. Things gonna be fine...

I would love for you to come to America. Please let me know if you do. We would welcome you to our home. I would hope to repay some of the kindness I was shown in China. I don’t live in the “Big Apple”. But, I could show you buffalo, American Indian reservations, Mount Rushmore, cowboys, and our cabinet/flooring/furniture products plant, (which uses wood from China). We have had many Chinese visitors in our home. They have all enjoyed their visits here.

WOW!!! Thanks for your hospitality!!! Sounds much more interesting than expected. I will definitely enjoy my visit there! And thanks very much for being so nice to me. o(∩_∩)o... And I'm very curious about American Indian Reservations. So do they actually hunt for food there?

....”do they actually hunt for food there?”....

No, they usually go to WalMart, especially on the first day of the month when their government welfare checks arrive. I’m afraid that our Indian Reservation system is rather sad, and that disappoints me. They were a once noble people (and most still are) who now depend on government assistance for their needs. My husband is a Cherokee Indian who was able to go to university and has a very successful business. He is very proud of his American Indian heritage.

We need more dialog like this. It will foster more understanding and respect between our two nations.

We are all praying for your country, chinaboy. Americans don’t judge individual Chinese, it’s your government officials and their actions that we judge. Chinese people have always been thought of as kind, joyful, good people, at least by people I know. Don’t believe everything our corrupt media has to say about anything. Media all over the world says what it wants people to hear, not what’s really going on. Blessings, M

How wonderful. One of our friends adopted a beautiful Chinese girl and named her Grace, gift from God. She’s a real treasure.

Heck, we hunt for food here in Michigan. A good sized buck goes a long way. Then there’s bear, turkey, duck/goose, and 365 days of fishing. Food prices being what they are, we’ve been eating a lot of fresh fish lately.

i really question if you are really a chinese. as a chinese woman myself i live half year in china half year in europe i never find a problem to login into most of western websites in china, except porn websites.

chinese people talk politcial things all the time in forums and gave comments after policital news, and some of them critisized the government officals corruption ect,i did’t see any problems they got from cops.

if you talk about chinese afraid of post views in policial things 10 years ago, maybe that could happen, but for now, that’s really laughable! china change all the time, life and freedom are getting better and better all the time when the economy getting improving.

for some american people if you can read chinese, i suggest you go to chinese websites check by yourself, not by what western medias told you or some guys pretending to be a chinese.

I can tell you that when I read some, if not all, western medias, I really fell hurt so much, because i feel that they don’t look us as equal. They think they are the judger.

You shouldn't take western media too seriously. American and European mass media is a joke. It isn't controlled by the government but most of the people who are in it couldn't do a real job...like filling a fast food order correctly. It is different from the Chinese media that is tightly controlled by the communist government. Neither yours nor ours is truthful.

A meme is an idea that propagates from mind to mind in the same way a gene propagates from cell to cell.

That is a great point. It is just what I was thinking when you posted that, Phoebe. We don't need special software to get around blocks to see youtube in America.
