The first fresh poll results from Pennsylvania are in since Barack Obama's "bitter" comments about people in small towns exploded as a news story, and the findings could hardly be worse for the Democratic presidential contender.

Schadenfreude! What goes around comes around. As Obama is discovering, his sneering condescension of small town America is baggage that is weight down his once high flying campaign. It couldn't happening to a more deserving guy.

“The new poll by American Research Group — conducted Friday, Saturday and Sunday — gave Clinton 57% and Obama 37% (based on interviews with 600 Democrats, the survey has an error margin of plus-or-minus 4 percentage points). The 20-point margin is all the more dramatic because, just the week before, an ARG poll found the pair in a flat-out tie in Pennsylvania, each with 45%.”

it appeared many Pennsylvania Democrats began to turn against Obama because they are simply sick and tired of seeing and hearing his ads.Good news they found a antidote for Clinton fatigue, Barry Obama fatigue!

I have shifted back and forth in this election. I am so incredibly uncomfortable with Obama that I think I feel more strongly that he not get to the White House than I feel even the Clintons. I did not think that emotion was possible, but this guy is simply a danger to our nation. I think McCain could take him due to his extreme views, but he is a very talented candidate, and I think I would rather not risk it. He is a shrewd and vicious campaigner, and I think he could be effective despite all his weaknesses. With the media in the tank for Obama, he may be able to pull the wool over enough peoples’ eyes to eek out a victory.

Republicans need to ignore Rush and vote for Obama. He would lose 40+ states in November.

Yep! Those folks. Obama is not looking for their votes. So much for all his talk about bringing us all together.

I think McCain could take him due to his extreme views, but he is a very talented candidate... His "talent" is subjective, but you're spot on. Also, McCain would have a very tough time campaigning with an established MSM who's forgone any neutrality and already made Hussein president.

But like you say, the MSM is more likely to go in the tank for Obama vs their previous darlin McCain.
But the MSM is obviously tired of Cankles, and they would naturally get back together with McCain if thighness is the Dim candidate.

Permit to carry: a 100-lb bible and 22-Magnum squirrel gun to church on Sunday morning. Hillary, I never knew ya !!!!
To: unkus
We will know that they’ve reached rock bottom when we see photos of them carrying a shotgun and wearing camoflage like Kerry did.
As long as they don’t pull the trigger they can’t be prosecuted for hunting out of season.
To: montag813
Osama Obama is still likely to have the pop vote lead come convention time, despite op chaos. the dems would then have a lose-lose proposition: annoint the magic man and lose 40+ states, or pick TheBeast and permanently p!ssoff a quater or more of their core voters. Op chaos is rockin'!

And a bar, for the shots and beer later. You know us typical small town Pennsylvanians.
Uh-oh, here comes another wave of bitterness...gotta get my Bible, my gun and my mug.

That little lie has been seared in our memories until November! I really believe she cooked her own goose and bubba will continue to keep on giving ! RUSH THE VOTE!
To: PSYCHO-FREEP
Obama might still win the nomination. He is too much ahead. If he wins, I doubt his administration can accomplish much of anything. Hillary, however, will be far more powerful, and she is bringing the Rapist back into the White House. And after Hillary - Chelsea?

Perhaps the same basic Operation Chaos strategy — but, in reverse? Prop up BHO enough to continue the race to the convention?
To: Zechariah11
The radical left did what they do best, hijacked the Democrat party into the ground. The only elections they have won since Kennedy-Johnson have been with good old boy candidates. You’d think they’d suss that ineluctable pattern. So they got greedy again, went for the brass ring when they could have had Hillary as a shoe in. The rads do not have time on their side. With the Cold War commie nations going capitalist and their enviromaniac grand slam hail Mary pass foundering, they need Obama bad, real bad.
To: teddyballgame
This is a fun election on the Dem side. :)
To: Dr. Ursus
Hes losing voters by the hour in Philly.(by gun shot) In Philly, that don't matter. Those people are tough.
They can take a full mag on 9 mm to the head and come election day they will still get up off the Coroner's slab and pull the straight Dem leaver.
Philly Democrats never die.

This is why there’s an Electoral College. If there weren’t, then you’d only have to campaign in the big cities to win. It doesn’t apply in state political primaries, but it still matters when every vote counts.
To: ilgipper
LOL, Hussein can’t decide if he is Muslim, Oprah’s Kid, Black, White, Che, Malcolm X, a Marxist/Stalinist/Leninist, socialist, communist, or a Black Liberation Ideologue.
BUT HE HAS ADMITTED HE IS NOT AMERICAN
Which is why the MSM loves him, along with the “world”.
