Not a coincidence, a Tacoma jury is deliberating an ELF case right now, and another one has a preliminary hearing of some kind this morning.

Physically, not yet, financially, we’re all paying the price.

Incidentally... Other environmentalists have been pushing for a burn ban in King and Snohomish counties.

Saw this on the news before I left for work. Did not hear it was a street of dreams.

Is it NOT possible to stick cameras up in trees around these sites?

Here in Indiana the State has just opened up a large portion of the State Forestry for selective timber harvest in secluded portions that are only accessible to backpackers.
Last time they did this the idiot ELF members in Bloomington (IU) trashed all the equipment that was left on site, and they are threatening to do it again. I really hope they can nail these SOB's and throw the book at them.

Indeed. If there is a burn ban in those counties, the brush grows very well. Then when an inadvertent fire starts, you get something that looks like the annual firestorms in California.

I believe one of ELF’s female members is being sentenced today, with a possible minimum of 35 years...

Saw a funny video show this weekend. Some guys had a monster chainsaw that would cut a 36” log in about 2 seconds. Their motto was, “Earth First, we’ll log the other planets later”
Humor aside, this is domestic terrorism pure and simple.
