When my liberal sister said that, I asked, “Is there Al Qaida in England? “Yes.
Al Qaida in Saudi Arabia? “Yes.”
I name 10-15 countries and she says yes to all.

So the only country that they were not in is Iraq? “Yes.”

Shake head and drink the rest of my beer and fall down on the floor dramatically.

“”I have some news. Al-Qaida is in Iraq. It’s called `al-Qaida in Iraq,’” McCain said, drawing laughter at Obama’s expense. “

now that is the kind of thing that could make me warm up to McCain a little more.

Truth be told a by product of disarming Saddam was to draw Al Quida into the open where we could hunt them down and kill the bastards in their corner of the world, not ours....mission accomplished.

...saying he would take action as president "if al-Qaida is forming a base in Iraq."

Obama quickly answered back, telling a rally at Ohio State University in Columbus, "I do know that al-Qaida is in Iraq."

So what, exactly is he saying??? If al-Qaida leaves Iraq and than comes back to Iraq, then he'll take action??? He may be a lawyer, but did he ever take a course in basic logic?

The man is scary.

This is a good one! And nice try Obama, McCain has been a leader not a follower on Iraq. Obama hasn't even done his homework!

The McCain List.

"I have some news. Al-Qaida is in Iraq. It's called `al-Qaida in Iraq,'" McCain said, drawing laughter at Obama's expense.

I hereby condemn these hurtful comments. I take responsibility and I repudiate what he said. I will not tolerate anything in this campaign that denigrates either Sen. Obama or Sen. Clinton.

In a general election, attacking a candidates knowledge of issues wins you votes and attacking a candidate's ethnicity loses you votes.

Are you against Obama because of his dangerous left-wing politics or because of the name his father gave him at birth?

Obama should fact check before he talks. "So I have some news for John McCain," he added, saying there was no al-Qaida presence in Iraq until President Bush invaded the country."

President Bush in his "Saddam must leave" speech in 2003: "The regime has a history of reckless aggression in the Middle East. It has a deep hatred of America and our friends. And it has aided, trained and harbored terrorists, including operatives of al Qaeda."

2002 Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was operating in Iraq and planned an assassination on Laurence Foley, a US diplomat before Pres. Bush “invaded” Iraq.

May Obama and his “followers” go to hell for all I care. Ignorance is destroying this Country and it seems Obama is the head cheerleader for the movement.

This reminds me of an argument with my (liberal) sister while my son was on his 2nd Iraq tour with the USMC. She went off about how we should not even be in Iraq, should be going after AQ in Afghanistan. I said, HEY AQ IS IN IRAQ. And she argued that if we were not in Iraq AQ would not be there, so we should pull out of Iraq and “redeploy” to Afghanistan. Could not make her understand that if the enemy is/was AQ, how about we just fight them in Iraq since we are already there? Of course she shuts down every conversation by saying we will never agree on these things and does not want a little tiff to hurt our relationship.

Actually, out of the 3 possibilities, I find Obama the least intolerable.

Since McCain has gotten into the APOLOGY business,,,,why doesn't he demand an apology from B. Hussein Obama for his daily lies???

Hussein smears and slanders McCain every day with his LIE,,,,yes BLATANT LIE,,,,that McCain wants a "100 YEAR WAR"!!!

Unless Hussein cannot distinguish between a 'PRESENCE' with a friendly government and a 'WAR',,,,he is blatantly lying his butt off every day,,,,and he doesn't apologize. I guess that Hussein must think we are still at war then with Japan, Germany and Italy.

Why doesn't McCain demand an apology from Hussein for his blatant, unconscionable, repeated lying? (And yet McCain apologies for a supporter stating a fact,,,Unbelievable)

“When my liberal sister said that, I asked, “Is there Al Qaida in England? “Yes.
Al Qaida in Saudi Arabia? “Yes.”
I name 10-15 countries and she says yes to all.”

By that logic, we should have an occupying force in these other countries as well. We should treat al Qaida like the disease that it is. Pin-pointed inoculations and surgical excisions.
