If McCain is elected he will pass amnesty and this country will be flooded and VERY insecure so don’t try to foist that canard on me.
And since when did standing up for what you believe in become selfish? You want me to bend past the breaking point of my principles. You want us to move a little more to the left in the belief we can correct it later. We have tried that plan and lost.

And if he isn't, Osama Hussein or Hillary will do the exact same thing. The Mexican invasion is a done deal, and we lost it a decade or more ago by not doing anything while the numbers were manageable. I don't like it any more than you do but it's time to look ahead to something we can win.
A protest vote over the last loss won't turn back the invasion, it will ensure we lose on socialist healthcare, the supreme court, global warming, and surrender in Iraq too.

I think amnesty is the greatest long-term threat to America. I think the leftists see immigration and multiculturalism as their ultimate weapon. But I do not think that a McCain Presidency will be worse on this issue than a Ho-bama one. I think we will likely do better on immigration with McCain.
