Youll never take me alive, Copper!LOL! Being in the utility industry, I can say that copper theft is apparently the latest fad. Is certainly isn't all that valuable compared to gold or cash, but apparently it's fun to steal. Unless, of course, it's still energized!
In talking with friends in Florida, the punks are actually stealing copper tubing out of the air conditioner units of businesses when they're closed at night.
One thing's for certain - if the come here looking for copper, all they'll collect is lead. Well, perhaps lead with a copper jacket....
