Recent dives made by Robert Schoch appear to have missed the carved shapes more recently found at 'the stage' portioon of the site.

I saw the video of Schoch touring this underwater site. He said these were natural formations and that there were some still on land just like them. He didn't discount that these natural formations may have been 'worked' some by man before they went underwater. He closed the video by saying, "call me if you find writing."

Others whose names I don't recall have said (essentially) the same...natural formations.

Schock's latest book, Voyages Of The Pyramid Builders, is fun reading.

I don’t know if anyone has called Schoch, but the carved figures at the stage portion (not unlike So. American Mayan figures, BTW) show the site was clearly manipulated by man and possibly used extensively prior to the end of the last ice age. Are the geometric rock formations natural? It would seems so since there are such formations above the water line and around the world. But there are clearly carved images in the stone under the water that have been there for a very long time. See frame #three at Hancock’s site, the carved head/face. On the side of that carved face/head is a very large glyph not unlike a feathered headdress.

Does not conflict with some ideas proposed in Schoch's book posted in #48. Nor does it conflict with similar theories in Stephen Oppenheimer's book, Eden In The East, which Schoch seems to 'lean' on heavily. (credit given)

The muse is an empty dream? A shade like Eurydice? And after life are we not all empty dreams as well? I guess this is part of what makes for tragedy... the flaw of dying. Yet if we are ultimately dreams and our life is the stuff of dreams... then we are dreams dreaming dreams (rounded by no sleep if we're Christian;-).
