"I never could understand why the Turks don't say, "Yes, it was genocide, but that was under the old, bad Ottomans. We don't do that any more.""

Some of the answers are behind the link.

I cannot answer your argument - first you accuse me of blaming “the Jews,” and of having annointed Foxman “the leader of the Jews” and then accuse Wikipedia of having a Christian/British/Islamofascist bias. You are full of accusations. I will leave you to your paranoia. Good night.

We’ve all seen the same kind of propaganda on Free Republic from the Balkans, Russia, Lebanon and other places. ...same religion, generally, same blaming of Jewish people for foreign problems not of their responsibility. The Jewish people do not run our US government. The only disproportionate numbers (per comparison to general population) are those of Catholic congressmen—higher percentage of them in Congress than in the general population. So what? And the only thing wrong with that is that most of them are currently Democrats. But I doubt that you’ll find a lot of concern for Armenia from them, either.

The Turks are unrepentant Nazis. Turk Muslims have spent the last three months hacking their way through Roman Catholic internet sites leaving anti-Armenian propoganda.

As far as I am concerned, the Turks should be driven from Asia Minor into Turkmenistan and once there deprived of their language, forced to speak Greek, and forced to call themselves "Little Kurds" or be deported to Antarctica.

They are guilty of attempting the complete genocide of the Armenian people. They are guilty of attempting the complete genocide of the Assyrian Christian people. They are guilty of attempting the genocide and erasure of the Kurdish people. They are guilty of outrageous attrocities against the Greek people. They are a people whose existence is built upon evil itself manifested in the worst of human behaviour.

The CIA Fact book always fails to mention where Armenia really was. And how tiny that little country is compared to what was Armenia and Cilicia. But CIA fact books drive me insane in what they do not report correctly. My favourite one is the pre-Iranian revolution book on Iran. I have a copy and it is a document that could easily be titled “Iran: an ostrich in the sand’s eye view”...
