BTW, welcome to Free Republic. You really managed to distinguish yourself in this glimpse of the old FR where there was a lot of free-wheeling debate (but without the personal attacks & profanity).
When I first joined, no one even said, Welcome to FR. I can’t recall when it first started to show up. For a short time I thought it was only meant for Trolls, hah hah! But even then it’s meant in a friendly manner.

anything under 60% is a loss in my eyes and it doesn’t really make any difference what percentage it is after that.

The media could never quite grasp that there was nothing they could do to keep Reagan from connecting with the American people.... Nor can they grasp that they aren’t connecting with the American people. They are so clueless.

Great question! No I’m not.

Well, in short, because it was the first thread I saw that good me as excited as helk to be a conservative. Why did I stay on the thread? I stayed because I agreed with Jim Robinson 150% in what he wrote. I understand the changes made to the primary system, I understand our domestic enemies and I siezed the oppurtunity as a new member to help accomplish what Jim Robinson committed to seeing happen. I always like to learn new things, and I’ve also learned a lot reading this thread. It’s something that has literally gone through 3 of the 4 stages of Team Building as I’ve learned them. I want to be part of the team. Pretty soon, I hope we all are Performing as a Team which is stage 4. I hope this satisfies your interest. I was in the right place at the right time and did not want to sit back and just watch. Please don’t view that in a negative way. I like to work and don’t mind putting my time and talent toward what I view as a critical time in this nation’s history.
Never try to eat dinner and post at the same time.
