“Meanwhile, the pro-gun crowd has to show up and PICKET and PROTEST whenever Rudy comes to town, just to show that we still support gun rights. I don’t want a candidate I have to picket before I vote for him.”

Neither do I.

“Rudy’s frontrunner status”

The only front-runner status Rudy has is his name recognition combined with people not being familiar with his positions yet.

I can see the bumper sticker now “I Picketed Rudy Before I Vote for Him.”

“I expect liberals to trash Reagan. I expect liberals to attack people who support conservative candidates. But this is Free Republic and we’re supposed to be conservatives. These types of attacks on conservatives should not be tolerated here. If they want to attack conservatives, they can go do it at their own stupid little site that they created to do just that. But it shouldn’t see the light of day here.”

Amen!

You lied. Liberal.

That's choice coming from a Hillary Clinton fan. LOL.

“without mentioning his outstanding fiscal conservative positions and tax cutting policies and his strength in terms of national security and hating the Arab jihadists.”

His fiscal conservative positions?

Like public funding of abortion, social services for illegals, opening a gay & lesbian health clinic etc?

His tax cutting policies? Like when he opposed eliminating the commuter tax, opposed pataki’s proposed 25% tax cut, and dismissed the flat tax?

What’s his strength in national security? What’s his experience you can point to in foreign policy or military experience? Does his kicking out the squeegee men count as experience?

So now we are left with “hating the Arab jihadists.” Wow, that’s a real qualification!

“Thankfully not in the eyes of the conservatives I know.”

The conservatives you know are probably not conservatives, they’re liberals like you. Sitting at a table of Republicans at the local GOP Club doesn’t make your opinion conservative. You keep saying you see natsec as more important, but it certainly appears that you simply don’t care (at all) about social issues...and honestly, that’s fine Peach, but that makes you a Republican not a conservative.

You’ve repeatedly posted that Rudy is a gun grabbing, abortionist loving, gay marriage supporting liberal, without mentioning his outstanding fiscal conservative positions and tax cutting policies and his strength in terms of national security

National security?

If you're so concerned with national security, why would you support someone that has created a sanctuary city for people that have entered this country illegally?

From a Business Week interview, Rudy Giuliani on Iraq, Taxes, Mistakes:

You recently picked up Steve Forbes, who is a flat-tax advocate, as an adviser. Do you also support a flat tax?

Rudy: I support simplifying the tax code. I think of the flat tax as theoretically a very good solution—and probably what we should have done when we first started the income tax. These days it would be unrealistic to go all the way to a flat tax. But you can use it as a guide to figure out how you're going to simplify taxes.

Thanks for noting it Beagle8U, this was a case where I had fallen for the pro-rudy postings and thought Rudy had endorsed the flat tax. I don't know why I keep making that mistake.

If the baby-killer wins, those of us who are conservative bolt. If a conservative wins, those who want babies dead bolt.

If you actually believe that, you are certifiable.

and honestly, that’s fine Peach, but that makes you a Republican not a conservative.

And it's going to be Republicans that elect the next president.

No, seems like everyone here is just OK with bannings instead of constructive conversation.

You want to make the tent smaller, then don’t be outraged when the bigger tent wins and runs the policies of this nation next time.

Poppy Bush introduced Bill Clinton at events as well. Says something about something? no, unless you believe in equivalence.

Nope. Facts trump emotions. Those who support infanticide will vote Democrap if a conservative wins.
