To hear a lawyer who works for the state say this is almost unbelievable.
When a lawyer speaks to the media, the natural instinct of ALL lawyers - and especially those who work for the AG - is to weasel and qualify and leave themselves wiggle room all over the place.
This sounded like a closing argument for the State in a criminal prosecution.
Nifong is not just toast -- he is whale excrement on the bottom of the Marianas Trench. I can't imagine how much trouble he is about to be in. Disbarment has just become a very distinct possibility . . . .
. . . . probably in retrospect he thinks that getting elected wasn't worth all this . . .
