Prepare to talk w/ some of the most mind-numbed and defensive kool-aid drinkers the Republican party has ever seen.

I called his Omaha office the other day and when complaining that Hagel loves to criticize Bush's plan, he doesn't seem to have a plan of his own. His well-programmed call taker told me he was going to be coming up with one. I laughed.

Howie Carr had a column this past week on overpaid headmasters at all the historical, yet fashionable, prep schools.
On JF'nK:
Americas Gigolo, John Forbes Kerry of St. Pauls School, which was the exclusive school that first let the cat of the bag about this big-money trend a couple of years ago, when it was discovered that the previous headmaster was grabbing a $524,000 package. The new St. Pauls headmaster (for he is indeed a man) is down to a mere $275,000 a year, which in the world of Sen. Kerry (Class of 62) is lower middle class.
So, which is it, St. Paul's (NH), or Switzerland?
To: Calvin Locke
It may be both. St. Paul's has a high pedigree in the US. He may have taken his "13th Grade" in the US.

General David Petraeus
Leader of the forces in Iraq who testified before Congress that a resolution condemning the President's troop buildup would encourage the enemy and discourage the American soldiers.
Senator Chuck Betrayus
The only Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to vote with the Democrat party to condemn the President's troop buildup. Betrayus was a big cheerleader and even had the nerve to "chew out" the patriots on the committee who refused to give aid and comfort to the enemy. Betrayus literally told the Republicans who opposed him they'd be better off as shoe salesmen.

"Brit Hume has the best political show on TV right now. It should be required viewing." Unfortunately FOX has taken Hume off the evening lineup and put on still more reruns of Dummity and Tombs. So much for "quality TV" at Fox.

Yes indeed----Brit Hume is the best news man on TV today. He is my last thin thread to the media. If he ever goes, so do I.

We should thank the Swifties every day that they stopped this disgrace from becoming POTUS. I suppose we should also thank JFK for stopping himself: talkabout self-inflicted wounds ... but better him than us.
