BUMP!
"You have no idea how a universal life policy works do you??"
Nah. I just sell it.
If you think you're somehow entitled to health care that you can't afford on your own, in an effort to keep you alive for a couple more months, then you're a socialist. You think you have a right to take other people's money for an expensive and futile act of selfishness.
Your attitude is shared by too many, which is why we're going to face a health care crisis of enormous proportions quite soon.
If we spend $100,000 or more to prolong the life of each senior for a couple of months, where is that money going to come from?
Not a stunning endorsement of the policy or of yourself there pal.
Got a question for ya.
How much of my premium goes for insurance and how much of it goes for my cash value?
I don't understand what you mean by not a stunning endorsement.
You pay Social security taxes? You pay into a medical account? You pay deductibles? You pay for drugs? You play for getting to and from the doctor? You also pay for life insurance? Except for your medical account, this is all post tax.
If you can have a life insurance policy that is completely tax deductible and at retirement the cash is tax free would that interest you? IRS rule 419(Now I know where the Nigerians got it) allows small companies to do this. What happens if it was now done on a large scale?
My point is there are other ways to fund our present health care system. As I said in my first post, by having the government do it is socialist and I didn't endorse it. I just threw it out there for debate since companies are doing this privately.
The problem with Congress is not that they are misinformed.
