As a Pats Fan...I extend my sincere congratulations for a hard fought victory.
The Pats did not give the game away...they had their chance to take it and did not. The Colts simply played up to their max potential.
I'm a Bears fan, but I wanted to start the thread. But both teams played very well, and a slight difference in the game and the Patriots would be in the Super Bowl again. The Colts did a little more a little better. They played well all season too.
I am guessing the Patriots might have a new WR next year.
Nah, they choked. Brady whined to the refs after every missed play, the defense fell apart, the receivers looked like deer in headlights and when Brady threw their last chance away he pulled a Romo and got the heck out of there and left his teammates to congratulate the winners.
Can you say, "Gas pipe"? Yeah, they had it and they gave it away. That's a choke job. A record-setting choke job. No other team has had a larger lead in a conference championship game at halftime and lost. They gave up 32 points in the second half. It was either the worst coached game in AFC Championship history or the biggest choke by a team or a combination of both but the bottom line is that Patriots blew it.
