I can't believe that I'm forced on the side of the Chicago Bears for the Superbowl.
To: elhombrelibre
I was kind of hoping for a rematch of Super Bowl XX, but this'll do.
To: elhombrelibre
Time for a major shake-up in Pats land?

I'm a Bears fan, but I'm happy to see they'll face the Colts, who well deserved this win.

Congrats Colts fans. It was a great, hard fought game and your boys had a helluva come back. Now win the Bowl, because I hate the idea of losing to ANYONE except the Super bowl Champs/

Our politicians stun Patriots almost daily.
Why should the Colts be any different.

Congrats to the Colts...it was an entertaining game to watch, although I was slightly pulling for Patriots (Seahawk fan, so no real horse in the race).

Quite a comeback.
As an aside, I'm sure the press will cover in great depth that this is not the first time for a black coach; it's the first time for two black coaches to make the Super Bowl.

Wow! Colts owner Irsay gives all the glory to God for what his team accomplishe. Tony Dungee thanks the Lord. Could this be said in Massachusetts or California?

It's really a shame they can't play the Super Bowl in South Bend (or Fort Wayne as Dungy just said).

Coaches of both winning teams acknowledged the fact when asked, then went on to talk about their teams without wallowing in it. I respect them for that.

The Pats have had 3 Super Bowls in 5 years, 4 in the last 10.
Some of us haven't had our team in the Big Show in 26 years. :(

I've heard it way too many times today.
Maybe if a person is black, they think differently.
But as a middle-aged white guy, I keep thinking that both Dungy and Smith are good coaches - but they're hardly groundbreakers like Jackie Robinson.
To: Mr J
Why? Indy is a great team and the pats had 'a' bad game. Why mess with a coaching staff with a 12-2 record in the playoffs and three super bowls?

I've heard at LEAST 2 dozen mentions in past few hours how these are the first black coaches in a Super Bowl.Far more annoying are the 100 posts of outrage here for each time it is mentioned. You'd think the announcer had just urged every girl to go out and get an abortion judging by the ranting and rending of garments here in response. Get a grip.
Gee, I can't imagine why the GOP has so much trouble breaking into double-digits with black voters...

Both of these QBs have a history of folding like a lawn chair under pressure.
I predict a final score of 10-6.

Rex is as inconsistent as a good quarterback can be without riding the bench. The Bears wins have largely been due to the defense, the run, and the special teams. If Rex's is on fire, then they're really good. They don't remind me of the 1985 Bears at all. They're a good team, but not a great one. And I wouldn't bet on them.

Why do you hate the Patriots?
Because they are smart, they win, and are well coached?
We lost tonight, But it was one HELLUVA game!
Unlike the Saints and the Bears.
You cannot buy that kind of excitement with prissy boy "Peyton" working his thumb through the third quarter, and those P/C refs.
Gag me!
Tom Bomb threw the ball away but, He has more "beans" than that wimp Manning.
GO CHICAGO!

I didn't hear 'gloating.' You thank those who help you in life. Dungee has had to deal with his share in the last year, and leaned heavily on his religion. I thought both men were quite humble. Gratitude does that to a man. Try it sometime.
