Can anyone explain to me WHY Burns, who was a foreign policy advisor to John F'in Kerry in the 2004 campaign is serving in an allegedly REPUBLICAN Administration?

I'm sure they will be as strong as the sanctions were for Iraq! The UN is the enemy of the US. They need to find a new home in Iran or Venezuela.
