BTW are you saying obama is a marxist? No. But I'm saying that Indonesian schools in the sixties, like much of the rest of Indonesian society under Sukarno, was dominated by Marxists.
Obama is definitely a liberal redistributionist (you want me to cite floor speeches?) but I'm going to stop short of labeling him a Marxist.

I'll quote you:
"If you want to use "madrasah" in its most literal Arabic context as referring to any educational institution"
My take is that a madrasah is a muslim school which is the way it's stated in wiki. The word "Muslim" attachs a religious conotation to it, at least for me.
It's similar to 'Jihad', which according to some nice Muslims I know mean 'struggle', but some people only associate it with fanatical muslims intent on destroying the great satan.

Sure, I'll have the JimRob delete my account right now if you can point to one place where I've supported Obama. And please note that I never said that you should leave FR. I said I didn't want to see anyone whining when they're laughed at after they use the asinine issue of Obama's name.

When I heard that FBI agents have refused to "SPY" on fellow Muslims, because it is against the KORAN, my normally OPEN mind closed off the possibility that I would vote for ANY MUSLIM.

I couldn't care less about his name, and I believe the same is true for just about everyone else.
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
I disagree. His name is an essential part of his identity. He is not african-american. He was named by a white (American) mother, and a Kenyan black (African)father. Does it make a difference when Cassius Clay renounced his name and became Muhammad Ali of the nation of islam and subsequently refused induction into the United States Army? The name was an important part of his identity and does influence behavior and character.

OBAMA (off mic): You talked about my ears, and I just want to put you on notice: I'm very sensitive about -- What at I told them was, I was teased relentlessly when I was a kid about my big ears.
DOWD (purring): We're trying to toughen you up.

This little exchange says all that needs to be said about the state of male female relations in feminist America. The sniveling bitch male controlled by the castrating, empowered female. And they find this "man" sexy? Pardon me but which sex,
To: WinOne4TheGipper
scroll down to Karachi If the name reflects anything islam, I am opposed. And it looks like the muslims will be supporting Obama.

With women swooning over him, or so we are led to believe by the drive by media, he could easily cruise past everyone in the primaries. The older fossils (Kerry et al) don't stand a chance. If we nominate a Bob Dole type against this guy it could well be a recipe for disaster-- keeping in mind the constant comparisons in the DBM between one of youthful energy and eloquence, and some old haggard. A good number of Americans go for syle over substance.
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Yes lets pander to the light weight American voter and make a beauty contest out of it, accepting the style over substance issue as valid. Lets find a Ronald Regan and have the "style" of substance.

I completely disagree. Rush's main point was that Big Ears Obama was whining about being made fun of when he was a kid, not that Big Ears Obama has big ears. If Big Ears Obama is that thin-skinned and
sensitive, he sounds more like a girly-boy rock star than presidential material. That's not how real men handle things.
Again, it was Big Ears' reaction to it that's this issue here, and now that Big Ears Obama has brought attention to it, it is all the more fun to use it incessantly.
