I think you can relax a little. Nothing about science threatens Christianity. Neither does life anywhere else, evolving or not. Science is merely the study and appreciation of the wonder of all creation.

For me, I do hope we get off this rock in some meaningful way and get out and explore the neighborhood. Lots of us. I hope we got back to the Moon and over to Mars, and set up permanent residences there.

There is nothing in the Laws of science that are anti- religion. Interpretation comes down to faith. The same creation story could have been written on planet after planet and without knowing Gods mind and intentions how can you determine that you are correct from your limited perspective of the universe.

See, now you can be a stick in the mud about space travel when we get to Mars, too! ^_^

(Just kidding around!)

it would be mentioned in Genesis! LOL. It would be a pretty big deal, right?

Genesis was written first to an audience of largely illiterate sheperds and nomads that still thought the world was flat. Gotta take things one step at a time... :-)

Simply put, don't you think if there was life on other planets out there, it would be mentioned in Genesis! LOL

As if it needs to be pointed out, the Bible's not a science book.

No need to base $15 billion a year expenditure on this. Total waste of direction.

Not if Branson runs the program and the money comes from Chinese investors, it isn't.

Repeal the Treaty. Then we can talk about private investment.

Life on Mars. That's all we need. Now the Sierra Club will sue to stop all further Martian exploration in order to protect Mars's delicate environment.

That's why we need to keep the government out of any actual manned exploration.

That was actually Shiela Jackson Lee who wondered about the astronauts who planted the American flag on Mars, not Cynthia McCrazy.

The Treaty means Gummint only, and exploration only--no development of resources, no settlements, no commerce.

I wish to become a Water Brother.

You know we love each other it's plain to see There's just one answer comes to me Sister lovers, some of you must know about water brothers And in time maybe others So you see what we can do If we try something new, that is if you're crazy too And I don't really see why can't we go on as ... three

now's there's some ET life, faith must be wrong

Why? Nowhere in the Bible did I see it written that we were God's only planet full of creatures, just that He is the only God.

Right you are Mr. Whale. Reinterpretations will keep the business of religion as big and as profitable as ever!
