Praying for them. What a horrible story. May there be a miracle that will restore him somehow. Prayers for comfort as well for all who love him.

We have just gone through a similar tragedy in my family so I know the pain and devastation they're going through. (My cousins, girls ages 9 and 14 have been left orphans by both parents passing away this year; their mom passed in January, and their dad, my mom's little brother, suddenly passed the day before Halloween.) My heartfelt prayers go out to Chris, Sherry, their children, Gretchen and all their loved ones.
May the Lord comfort them and give them peace. May their family and friends rally around them and be given wisdom to help them through the seeming darkness.
May The Lord be with all involved. Comfort & peace for the family.
