Forgetting that the moron who wrote this apparently doesn't know we have an all volunteer military, what's really funny about this comment is that I love how this DUmmy undermines Kerry's tortured explanation of his remarks wherein he claimed it was a "botched joke" meant to insult Bush and Cheney, not the troops. Even Kerry's own supporters are interpreting this as having been a slam on the troops! The idiotic remark above clearly shows even Dems. aren't reading this as having been directed against Bush and Cheney.

It's not flip-flopping. It's INCLUSIVENESS. Some military folks were insulted by the joke, and Kerry wanted to let people know that he meant to insult a much broader group of people.

I've actually attempted (I know, I'm a masochist) to point out to DUmmies that the military is actually BETTER educated than the general public (using both DoD and Heritige Foundation studies). Their response is always "Well of course THOSE two sources will say anything." In other words, "don't confuse me with facts..."

Most DUmmies really do believe that people in the military are stupid and that only stupid people would go serve in Iraq.
