Just a short update. I saw a specialist on Wednesday and she has suggested I have another test, which will probably be scheduled for next week sometime. I will let you all know the results when we get them.

Based on everything I've read thus far, the news is very encouraging. There are a class of neuroendocrine tumors that are simply hormone-secreting non-cancerous lesions that can be tolerated without complication.
What's also promising is that there are no hallmarks for malignancy. As my doctors told me when I was diagnosed, if the indicators say "no" or "maybe," then the likelihood of the tumor being malignant is negligible to nonexistent.
Hang in there, kiddo! If a grumpy ol' fart like me can kick this, I know you'll do great.
