Ugh. If he's defeated I might seriously reconsider my atheism.

Ugh, and I live in NH. If he gets elected we're getting it, too. At least we have CCW to keep them in check.

Could be worse. He could've sponsored a bill that would've required LEOs to shoot-to-wound.

Check out what NYS AG and gov wannabe's lt. gov. was up to...
David Patterson: Moron
Though, on the subject of Patrick, how about those letters he wrote on behalf of Benjamin LaGuer? That should've told voters something.

Regarding the NY candidate, that is quite scary. Who is the GOP nominee? I assume the Dem is well ahead. I guess if he wins it means the people of NYS are not really the least bit concerned about crime.
Same in MA. When crime goes up and prisoners get more rights than victims, no one who voted for Patrick has a right to complain.

Supposed violations of inmates civil rights While in charge of the Department of Justices civil rights division under President Clinton, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Deval Patrick targeted several prisons and jails nationwide for allegedly violating inmates rights. Among the issues Patrick cited as federal violations of convicts rights were:
- Denying rapists and murderers in solitary confinement in Marylands highest security Supermax prison the right to exercise and go outside for fresh air
- Conditions of extreme social isolation and reduced environmental stimulation at the Maryland Supermax
- Denial of recreational or educational programs and equipment at the Supermax
- Food being served lukewarm or cold
- Inmates being forced to make a $2 medical co-payment for non-emergency doctor visits
- Grossly deficient mental health care services
- Improperly inflated basketballs and a lack of hoops at a New York prison
- Failure to provide inmates white underwear in Virginia
- Failure to serve prisoners juice or milk with lunch in a Georgia jail
- Failure to provide adequate air conditioning in individual cells in a Mississippi jail
- Failure to provide cons with clean linen and clothes three times per week in a Mississippi prison.

Did his opponents in the Demo primary bring this up? Maybe they were just as bad as he is.
Let me add, to the tens of millions of morons out there who still think Clinton was the best president ever, just look no further than the kind of person he appointed to see what a committed lefty he was. Patrick was certainly not the exception. Anyone who mistakes Clinton for a good ole boy southern bubba type is miles off the mark.

Did his opponents in the Demo primary bring this up? Maybe they were just as bad as he is. They were, they were. By the way, I watched the Kennedy - Chase 30 minute debate last night. Chase was pathetic - he tried to out Democrat Kennedy and they both bashed Bush all night with almost no disagreements.

From what I am reading it appears he would be the perfect Governor for Massachusetts.

I fall on my knees nightly and pray you're correct, but I don't think there's much chance of it. What, may I ask, is the nature of your hope? Maybe I've overlooked something...
To: Jack Hammer
I believe that many of the Reilly and Gabrieli voters will either vote Healey... or simply not vote for Patrick. I also think Healey's gender... and Patrick's race will be a factor in MA.
