Five of the suspected London terrorists are still at large and are being urgently hunted, according to U.S. sources who have been briefed on the airplane bombing plot. Officials tell ABC News 24 people now have been taken into custody. Twenty-two are believed to be of Pakistani descent. Approximately 30% of all illegal immigrants came here legally and then overstayed their visas, many of them students. So 11 students is barely noticeable when there are thousands who do so every month.

Don't know where you got the numbers from, but the point remains--someone called in immediately. Your original post was complaining about government searches. Since 9-11 all of us have lost some freedom. The root is not our government, the root is terrorism. I'm not going down the immigration, constitution, etc., road with you. I've been there and done that here. The point is that you can't blame the government for trying to keep the country safe. Blame the terrorists for making the searches etc. necessary.
