Americans, Isrealis and ever the girly men Europeans have everything at stake. Everthing. The radical Islamists will not be at peace untill we are dead or subjugated. Period! The is no truce or peace plan they will accept. That is the reality. I don't buy the statement that the extremists are a small portion of the Moslem world. Bull, the rank and file Arab in the Middle East, Europe and here in North America all sympathize with those killer bastards.
I hope the Democrats and Liberals here and the liberal and Socialists in the rest of the world, especially in Europe wake the hell up before it is too late. Unfortunately, severe and unyielding action to distroy them and by that example throw ice water on the imflamed "Arab Street"
We must destroy them before they destroy us. There is no other alternative. We are past talking, way past!

I have not and would not ask any American soldier to go against his Oath, his greater Oath to defend the citizens of his country, nor have I suggested he give up his citizenship to do so.

You don't lose U.S. citizenship for fighting under another flag, even under an enemy nation's flag.
Johnny "Taliban" Lindh was convicted of treason, but he was not stripped of his citizenship.
During World War II many Americans fought in the Canadian and British forces.
I agree with the sentiment. However, it is next to near impossible to lose one's citizenship in this country. Even Harvey Oswald, after denouncing his citizenship, never lost it. The country is better for not allowing the loss of citizenship so easily.

It would be "WHO among..." It's subjective.
Okay if were berating my grammar skills here I'll admit I'm an utter failure, no defense, I through myself on the mercy of the court.
I am and have asked for all current and former soldiers to search their hearts and their beliefs for what they stand for.
Do you personally believe in the Oath, as I do, to defend this country and its Citizens against all enemies, Foreign or Domestic?
Do you personally believe that we are in a fight of Beliefs not Nations, of Freedom not Political Realities?
Are you personally willing to fight, to defend your family, your way of life, with whatever Nation is going to bring the fight to the Enemy?
At some point you have to chose. I made one choice in high school, I STOOD, I took an OATH, I Served.
Now we all have to make a choice, we all have to STAND.

So the title was a rhetorical question designed to get Americans thinking about how much we support Israel?
There are alot of idiots in America. The evidence is that we had Carter for four years, Clinton for eight and we escaped Gore and Kerry by the skin of our teeth. Ergo, there will be many who do not support Israel because they've been sucked in by the misinformation.
But you asked current military members whether they'd be willing to join the IDF and without exception those that have answered said "no". We have our own military and we have our own fight. Now if you had asked them whether they would be willing to deploy to the battle and fight alongside the IDF, that might have been a better question.
Those of us with a brain realize we are fighting the same battle as Israel, against Islamic terrorism, but we just have different (and many more) fronts. They have the misfortune of geography to be situated in the snakepit.
But asking Americans to Serve a foreign country, even if they are an ally of ours, is wrong.
As long as they don't stop half way, sure all the way to Tehran.
I am not asking them to serve a foreign government, I am asking them to serve their OATH.
You do not seem to understand what that Oath means, nor, certainly do the seeming majority of the American people.
If we allow the Islamic Fundamentalists to continue on their reign of destruction simply because "good" nations are unwilling to do the right thing because of certain "Political Realities", and we as Soldiers whom took that Oath to protect, do nothing, then we as Soldiers have failed not only our Oath, but our families.
Just don't try to peace together Hezbollah.
Calm down. Israel doesn't need mercenaries, but the message is pretty impressive to me. It is also a window to the spirit of the young American servicemen in Iraq, whom Syria has also been targeting for 3.5 years.
I think it must me be very hard to understand, and Its hard for me to see otherwise,
Try to read some of the posts by some of our older soldiers here, whom I have the utmost respect for, and how they wish they could still serve and our willing to fight the good fight if only our country would do so.
Why do you think so many of older soldiers would be willing to fight under a supposed "Foreign" flag if they did not believe in their heart of hearts that they would in fact be following their Oath to this countries Citizens?
