The conductors of traveling minstrel orchestras have customarily called themselves "professor" as well.
Good point. And there are other similarities as well:
Minstrel show - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The performance itself was divided into three major sections. During the first, the entire troupe danced onto stage singing a popular song and doing a dance called the "walk around". Upon the instruction of the interlocutor, a sort of host, they then arranged themselves in a semicircle and sat down. Various stock characters always took the same positions: the genteel interlocutor sat in the middle, flanked by Tambo and Bones, who served as the endmen or cornermen. The interlocutor and the endmen then exchanged jokes and performed a variety of humorous songs."

Except for the part about the humor.
From the Evening Bulletin. It looks like Philadelphia has a conservative newspaper.
I myself
Wow, I AND myself, very college like professor....lol
BTW you're kicking Sam Hill's @ss!
Thanks. :-)
Tambo?
You're a little late.
Just get the call?
I hate to nitpick, but the quote doesn't exactly call for his assasination, it mentions an alternate situation where there is debate over it.
Not nitpicking, the quote is not even third person. It merely supposes a debate would occur, Ann does not state that she would participate in debate let alone take a side. Misquote out of context is standard leftie trickery.
Actually, probably more like a Clown. A member of that PO'd Posse whose members spend every living moment reading posts at FR. Kooks!
thanks, your whole comment is great.
I have not read Coulter's book. I don't know what she wrote. As I said, it does not matter. It could never be worse than what liberals and Democrats have said about conservatives and Republicans.
Bingo! Give Michael a Havana Cigar!
Precisely. They call Bush a Nazi, a terrorist, all manner of vile things, and the MSM yawns. But let a Conservative, Ann Coulter, Mark Levin, etc. let it rip, and it's front page news.
More than just a couple of liberal pundits:
"We really feel bad for poor Chuck - United States senator. The man who, uh, uh, how do I phrase this diplomatically, will put a bullet between the president's eyes, if he could get away with it," Mr. Hevesi told graduating students at Queens College."

Dear Right Wing Professor
Like most professors you are not as smart as you think. You wrote something that is false. You wrote:
"The article is premised on the contention that Ann Coulter has never said anything as bad as the worst things a motley collection of liberals have said."
This is patently not true. The premise of the article is that what Ann Coulter said should not causing the wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth by conservatives and Republicans since liberals and Democrats are never apolegetic about their colleagues who say things that are worse.
So by your own ridiculous standard you are discredited because what you said is false.
As far as what Tremoglie wrote, it is true Coulter mentioned assassination and a Democrat president. He was incorrect about that. Does it discredit his piece?
No. His point is, as far as he is concerned, what Coulter did or did not say does not matter.

At least not until liberals and Democrats apologize for their diatribes...So pardon me if I do not get so outraged by anything that Ann Coulter may have written in her new book, Godless: The Church of Liberalism. I am so used to the vicious, hateful, mean-spirited, despicable, invective of Democrats and liberals that anything a conservative would say about liberals can only be considered reciprocity. "
If you have any facility with reading comprehension you would know this. Obvioiusly you do not and therefore what you say does not matter!
LIke I said your like most professors not as smart as you think.
