This was just mentioned on the the Tucson Local news as well, saying the Tucson sector said the BP does not forward info to Mexican officials. Someone is BS'ing. Of course the BP does not forward diplomatic information, the State Department does.

They can both be true. The BP pressers are parsing.

This is the entire text of their response. If you read the text, (as it is saying to me, anyways) it says we dont tell the mexicans Someone Else Does It For US...

Don't they call that plausible deniability?

If they were not involved there would be a more thorough denial. They cannot, the Government of Mexico put it out on their website. I read it as a non-denial denial.

"Damage control." Yep. This story is going national.

Damage control.Yep. Let's see how many ways they can spin it.
You know what I find really really odd? The dims aren't all over this like white on rice. I wonder why that is? They are always looking for ways to score a hit against Bush, even if they have to lie. But not this, curious.
Is it a concerted effort between both parties working together?

They cannot, the Government of Mexico put it out on their website. I read it as a non-denial denial. The chick reporter mistranslated the Mexican website.
It says nothing about anybody informing the Mexican government about the movements of the Minutemen, which was the original charge.
It says what the BP press release says, that charges of abuse by a detainee involve informing the Mexican government of actions by the detainor, as is supposed to happen.
You've been had.
