ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS PLAN NATIONWIDE BOYCOTT
ASSOCIATED PRESS ^ | MAY DAY | JON SARCHE

Posted on 05/01/2006 3:41:23 AM PDT by Kimberly GG

DENVER - The doors of Hector Castillo's bakery are usually open 360 days a year, but anybody looking for his Mexican pastries or cookies will be out of luck Monday. Castillo planned to close his doors in sympathy with an economic boycott by thousands of illegal immigrants and their allies across the country, a show of force to illustrate how much immigrants matter................"

First article I could find today, May 1, on the Mayday 'Boycott'. There is more to this article, but trust me, it's more of the same. 6am and cnn has already begun it's coverage. 'Corresponents' strategically planted across the country to report on "Day Without Immigrants". Seems that cnn is intent on making sure the illegal's and their supporters get their stories of incredible struggle heard in the media. I can find nothing, no coverage anywhere about plans to counter protest by the majority of americans who are against amnesty, at least not today.

But there is a much bigger story, not being told. A 'boycott' that, in my opinion, is really a threat to our national security.

I can find nothing, no coverage anywhere about plans by our government to prevent or protect our country from a post 9/11, mayday invasion by millions and millions of illegal aliens and their supporters who have announced their intention to mass assemble in such dangerously high numbers that local law enforcement cannot control the situation, plans to mass assemble in protest up against both sides of the border, creating a national security nightmare. To affectively shut down the nation and to do so as a show of force, and in an admitted effort to intimidate our government into giving into their demands. Demands which they have made clear, full legalization, return of their land, and open borders. One only has to look beyond the american flags and READ their signage....something the media has failed to do....... "We are NOT illegal on OUR own continent." "This is OUR continent, NOT yours". "La Tierra Mia". "We are indigenous, The ONLY owners of this continent" "La Revolucion Continua", ""Varrio Si, Yonkes No!" "NO Militarization" "NO Borders" "Viva La Raza". "Viva la Revolucion" and their leadership has declared that the time has come.

No, I can find nothing anywhere regarding our government's plans to prevent or protect us from this monster they've created.

How about the people of that town 'Boycott' the bakery and not buy anything else from this man..Then he might have to go back to Mexico where he can be free alone with his illegal friends..Surely the INS will be there looking at work permits and citizenship papers..Yeah right!!

Brownsville, TX A F-4 "Phantom" patrols the US-Mexico border under a new program aimed at keeping undocumented workers from entering the country. The F-4, once ubiquitous during the Vietnam War has recently been pulled out of mothball to tighten border security. Wildlife advocates worry the noise will negavitely affect animals in the area.

These people are going to go nuts when this "Communist Boycott" has absolutely no effect on our economy. Infact because it's an illegal immigration, it will really be one day that they'll be following the law by not working.

BTW, it occurs to me, I've been hearing illegals pay income tax, how? And how can the Presidents and Congress essentially have ignored this problem and allowed illegal activity to take place in this country knowingly, when they are supposed to be the main authorities of upholding all the laws?

"Six of 14 Perdue Farms plants will close; Gallo Wines in Sonoma, Calif., is giving its 150 employees the day off; Tyson Foods Inc., the world's largest meat producer, will shut five of its nine beef plants and four of six pork plants."

Add these to my list. Perdue, Gallo and Tyson. won't really miss Gallo, but the other 2 means I won't be eating much chicken anymore.

I live deep in the barrio, in Atlanta. There is a road named Buford Highway in Atlanta, and I live near that. It is primarily Mexican with some Koreans and Vietnamese thrown in. I like it there, they are decent people.

Per the boycott: These are my observations.

I routinely take MARTA because it's a lot easier than fighting traffic. On a bus that normally holds 45 people, there were 28 people. That means that of the Latina community, approximately one-third are staying home.

I'm not sure that's good enough for the impact they wish to have.

They vote too. And collect welfare benefits. Fake and stolen Social Security numbers, phoney identification, and here in my town, they use mexican i.d. cards.
