President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should speak publicly about their involvement in the CIA leak case so people can understand what happened, a leading Republican senator said Sunday. Doesn't Sphincter know that there is a criminal case going on here?

Spector once again demonstrates he is an idiot. That ABC had the liar Wilson on and then treated him with the utmost respect, is just more indication that abc is not a news organization.

There wouldn't BE a criminal case going on if they had just come out with this information two years ago.
I'm really hard-pressed to understand this. They could've (presumably) cut off this entire investigation at the outset.

Specter should impeach himself.

I'd like to see S.P.E.C.T.E.R "explain" why he masquerades as an American and a Republican when he is really nothing more than another, moronic, America-hating, Liberal DemocRAT out to rob the taxpayer and destroy the country.

I hope Bush is kicking himself for getting this clown re-elected to the Senate.

Wilson needs to shut up. He is a narcissistic, hateful narcissist and the only one who buys his nonsense is the idiot Fitzgerald.
Are we allowed to say what we think about Fitzgerald or is he still the prosecutor's prosecutor.
To: Bubbatuck
Yes. Sadly another pail of water that has to be carried by the faithful . The only positive side affect from this is ,the Prez will lose traction on his amnesty plan.

Most cancer patients recover from "chemo brain" after a few months. Specter seems to be getting worse as more time passes.

Strangely, Specter does not deem it necessary to explain himself. If you listen closely, you can hear the distant echoes of Pat Toomey's "I told you sooooooo....."

Not necessarily. It really comes down to when the information was declassified. It still might be a genuine leak. Or maybe this is "strategery" from Karl Rove.

"The president may be entirely in the clear, and it may turn out that he had the authority to make the disclosures which were made," Specter said. But, he added, "it was not the right way to go about it because we ought not to have leaks in government."
So, if he had the authority, then it wasn't a leak, right, dummy?

When are the Clintons going to talk publically about the many FBI files of which they had the criminal privilege of making copies of.

Bush SHOULD explain this to the American people. He can debunk any myth out there so easily. Like every thing else he won't and he will let this snowball into a bigger problem than it is. He should address the nation and explain the facts. All the evidence is on his side. He can quell all this nonsensical clamoring by reading the senate intelligence committee report that totally discredits Joe Wilson. This should have been done years ago. Same goes with WMD's. Why the silence on these translated documents. He should be reading the translations every night for a week in a bright pink jumpsuit just to get everyone's attention. Having Rush Limbaugh and co. articulate what the president is trying to do is only going to go so far. The man with the bully pulpit needs to use it!
To: Clara Lou
These are the utterances of a dishonest media whore.
It is only a leak if it is classified.
Since the President can declassify intelligence, the information shared is no longer classified and therefore it can not be a leak.
Anyone other than a dishonest media whore borderline retard would understand this.

Excuse me .. Specter can just go read the EO himself and see that Bush and Cheney had the authority to de-classify portions of the NIE.
