As I recall, the French Revolution, and the Soviet Revolution which each killed priests by the bushel basket, has little or no Muslim influence.
Islamicists are evil, but are so horribly illogical and inept, that they can not even generate much of a threat.
Don't get me wrong, they are as bad as they can be, but without the infusion of Billions each year of Petro-dollars, would have to reform to even stay alive.
Imagine how much more competitive US industry would be with access to the billions of petrodollars.
I ferverently hope for nuclear fusion power to be developed soon. That will cut the financial pins out from under the Islamicists almost immediately.

You are exactly right; however, I was talking about the murder of Christians *today.* Once we do cut our dependency on oil, it will leave them stuck in the 9th century. No matter how much money they have, their culture will ALWAYS be behind the *civilized* world.
The persecution of Christians is a crime that is only now beginning to get the publicity it deserves. God bless all of them, and may God strengthen them.
