Justice Scalia's gesture shouldn't be the big news story. The effort to make him into news should.

As a 40+ year observer of Democrat tactics, this one is very familiar. Pick one individual out of the herd, make nutty accusations that will be amplified repeatedly by a compliant media, keep up the drumbeat incessantly until the public takes notice and the individual is either rendered ineffective or forced to resign. It's nothing more than the old Big Lie technique. It couldn't work here except for a lock-step liberal media establishment.

Justice Tony is a good troop. He knows his own mind and he knows the Constitution which is NOT a "living document."

Viva Scalia!

Didn't read it.

Simply put, Scalia is a genius.

The liberals just want to impose a religious test for public office, esp. the judiciary. This just follows naturally from Senator Schumer's objections to the "deeply held beliefs" of judicial nominees -- no serious Catholic believers need apply.

Re: this gesture

Trajan88 (being an American of Italian heritage) couldn't have said it better myself ;-)
