Lisa was on Days of Our Lives, I think.

Huh. She played Hamlin's wife on Veronica Mars. Never knew she really was.

"Dick Ebersol is the Executive Producer for NBC. What a terrible job he did!"

Yes, it was pretty disgusting. Too much cutsie, cutsie. Not enough of actual coverage of live events.

Worst coverage ever. The ratings tanked. But NBC is in the tank too.

They just don't get what people want.

Have you been?

The actually did something on it today during the earlier afternoon broadcast. The even interviewed the cardinal of Torino who is in charge of its safe keeping.

but ofcourse NBC had to put its hits against it in, "there is no way to prove its geniune" over and over again.

Personally I'm find this thread hysterical (and we finally just finished that absurdly long story with Brokow!) and I think they set it up perfectly for us with no ending...

You guys have made this a very entertaining "choose your own adventure" (like the old book series) and I love all the stories and funny scenarios you guys proposed for the brides and clowns, especially. Hee, hee!

I was waiting for someone to say that the cally lillies were actually some sort of flying contraption and the aviators would whisk away the brides at the end...or something equally...hard to figure out how it relates...and then the cards to wind up all being 'jokers' with the clowns somehow medling with them... :-)

Did NBC ever do a story on the Shroud of Turin? It's one of Torino's most famous artifacts. It's also of religious nature. Guess they didn't for that reason.

No, but Jay Leno did a piece on his "Olympic Tonight Show" which pretty much mocked the Shroud of Turin. Sent a clueless college kid inside the church where it resides, who yucked it up with Jay (back in the California studio) by making jokes about it. It was pretty disgusting, actually...

Oh, OK, are those her real lips? I mean, have they always looked like that?

Typical of them. I, for one, believe it's the genuine article. I do that on faith. I hope to see it one day. That would be an honor.

she's got one of the worst case of fish lips from collegen injections ever. Like Mike Tyson gave her a fat lip.

She has had them like that for a very long time, but those are not her real lips. She had them stuffed with fat or something. That is a very bad job, for sure.

Yeah, Hamlin was there in the audience every week. What I thought was funny was that her little dance partner on the show looked just like a little miniature Hamlin, lol.

They just kept introducing her as a "talk show host."

Hamlin hasn't had a decent role on film ever since he played a gay guy on "Making Love"

Yeah, yeah, collagen - that's it. I kept thinking "botox" but you're right, collagen. Ick!

Stacy came in third; Rice in second and Leshay came home with the trophy.

She was upbeat, but something about her just got all over me.

Ditto. The woman obviously suffers from an inferiority complex and has to be the center of attention. She was so annoying with her animated "look at me, I'm 42" schtick and frankly I couldn't really see passed her lips to rate her dancing, (meow).

My sister tells me she's up for an emmy on some soap and also has a soap talk show, although I doubt a guest can get a word in edgewise. She's another who thought she'd take home the prize but certainly didn't deserve the boot before Rice.
