You'd be the MOST likely to give me a lesson in developmentally-disabled protocol.

This has to be a joke, right? Did you actually use the "I know you are, but what am I comback" without meaning to? you DO realize I was being sarcastic, right?

BTW, your post on McCarthyism was spot-on.

Thanks. BTW- Don't take anything I say personally. I just can't sleep and I enjoy a good slap-fight.

Basically, that is what I remembered.

He's a no-go.

That is one issue I refuse to compromise on.

I don't give a rat's patoot what party they are from, no RKBA, no way they'll get my vote.

I am no fan of McCain but he is mostly for the Repulican agenda, he's pro-life, big on defense, for small government, etc. I know he have ruffled some feathers by some of his actions but all in all, let's face it, he is not a liar, I can't say that about Hillary.

Look gang this is simple. If it comes down to McCain and Rodham than without even batting an eyelash I will pull the lever for McCain.

In the lesser of two evils category, if anyone THINKS Hillary is in the running you are more batty than McCain. McCain has a conservative voting record and will sometimes do something you like. Hillary once President will start her left wing agenda that has been on hold while she is Senator to fool the folks. This act of hers will end. Second, whether McCain likes it or not, he will need his base at times and that gives some leverage over him. Hillary does not need you or want you. That's right Republican or Conservative: I MEAN YOU. You have no leverage over her actions and she will show you what it means to lose an election.

Anyone who hates McCain so much that self preservation isn't even in the equation, you may want to pass by Democratic Underground you might find some folks you agree with there.

Giuliani is for gun control. And Abortion (including partial birth abortion). And Gay rights which presumably would include gay marriage.

Look Giuliani is a great man and did great things for NY City before, during and after 9/11. I respect and admire the guy, truly. But he is a law and order conservative and a social liberal.

IMO, Giuliani would be a disaster for Repubs because many in the party will not vote for anyone as liberal as he is. I think Giuliani would be great as a leader in the War on Terror, but we are not a one issue party. If we became that our party would shrink considerably. Second, if we change our party to fit Giuliani, then it becomes not much more than a fan club and again we will lose big time. Giuliani has held most of these beliefs for so long that if he changes them now, he will be attacked as a flip flopper by the left (and rightly so).

So in the end Giuliani is a great man that will never run. He is a great fantasy candidate, but he is only that in National Repulican Politics a fantasy.

Mr. Wacko or The Witch

Uhhh... Wait a minute.

That is:
Conservative Mr. Wacko
or
Liberal The Witch

There does that make it easier? If it doesn't I think you have problems.

Amen, brother. Many are losing sight of the bigger picture because they HATE McCain... Sigh...

If it does come down to McCain and Hillary and you can honestly see no difference between them in the future of our country and you represent any amount of people in the Republican party, then I think the Republicans deserve to lose and pretty much deserve whatever Hillary dishes out and dish out she will do.

New York city is one place. I live in North Dakota, and despite the pork haulers we send to Congress, Gun Control, Abortion, and Gay Marriage would never play out here as platform values. That's a 1-2-3 punch for failure in this state.

Maybe I am discounting the liberalness of what has been included in Conservatism, but I would rather the Republicans quit trying to act like liberals in order to get votes. I'd like a chance to vote for the conservative candidate, not just the least liberal one for a change.

Let the liberals believe their polls, after all they were conducted (read:skewed) to show the rest of us how wrong we are.

Yet no matter how they skew the results, the ballot box is the poll which counts, and they keep getting that wrong.

Soooo. How about someone out there with the savvy to conduct the WOT without stripping the rank and file of their Constitutional rights, the balls to cut the liberal budget, to downsize the pork barrel, to shrink Government, to make programs less invasive, to get God out of the closet and put the gays back in, and bring about an end to the slaughter of the unborn?

(crickets chirping....)

I do not believe that the Republican will vote for McCain in the primaries so I do not believe he will even run against Hillary..And i stand by my statement I would rater stay home than vote for a cry baby like McCain that is as obnoxious as Dean..He won't make it to the starting gate anyway..And I do not believe that Hillary has a chance in Heck to be our next president..She has to much dirty laundry along with that perverted husband of hers..I will do every thing in my power to keep the woman out of the white house..

Perhaps McCain is the one Republican Hillary can beat

Why do people keep saying McCrazy is a Republican? He is no more a Republican than Hitlary, Grungy Harry, or Tubby Teddy.

I get the feeling McCrazy has you fooled, just like he did Barry Goldwater (does the name sound familiar?). I used to know both Barry Goldwater and McCrazy 20-25 years ago when I lived in AZ. When McCrazy first ran for John Rhodes seat he talked a good talk, but when he was elected his true colors came out.

The bigger picture is that McCain has alienated the Christian right, and has done nothing to make amends.

I would hold my nose and vote for McCain. But that means a lot of people would probably not vote at all if McCain was the alternative to Hillary.

If McCain could beat Hitlery by that margin, so could nearly any other Repub. I think it's Hitlery's lower numbers that make the difference.
