Don't forget about the election workers (all dems) who took blank ballots home the Friday before the election. I mean, come on, why in the world would anyone take home blank ballots if it wasn't for filling them out.

SEND THE FEDS!!!

The Dems really only have one course of action left to them, and it is simply to ignore the whole thing. And with the control they possess of the legislature and the courts, they can do that.

Watch for it - "Yeah, it looks like there were irregularities. We'll correct the problem and it will never happen again. People are human and make mistakes. No harm was intended. There's no proof all those irregular ballots weren't for Gregoire. We'll do better next time. What, it's 2008 already? Let's just move on, can't we?"

Ignore it or create a few "scapegoats". Logan is the logical one, maybe some underlings. "Yes, we had problems, they were personnel, not systematic. We fired those guys, all is well now".

I hear you, but this cannot go away, too many watching, too many problems, too much at stake.

Hey Bay,

So, is it legal to open ballot envelopes before the count then "tape" them closed to be counted later? Logan admitted to 258, pre-tabulation, resealed ballots. I wonder who's fingerprints may be on those ballots? I also wonder the vote percentage of those "resealed" ballots. Rossi's votes may not have been resealed. No need to if they disappear!

How is it only 129 votes separated Rossi & Gregoire?

Two reasons. First, Gregoire is not loved by the rank-n-file Democrats. Two, the Democratic party ran out of steam and stopped printing more ballots to stuff the boxes with.

They have all the bases covered. The state attorney general can't do anything unless he gets the okay from the governor or the King County prosecutor.

They have all mail-in ballots that will make future elections easier to "mess-up".

Secretary of State claims he can't do anything. I guess he's just a figure head collecting a six figure salary.

On top of that, we have some of our own Republicans giving the dems a hand in screwing us over. They think we'll forget by '06 but we won't. Major house cleaning coming up!

Glad you looked, many are not, they just are not interested.

Yes, folks are angry, more than you can imagine. Now since our totally Demo legislature and Fraudulent Gov raised taxed a bunch and increased spending 12%, people are VERY touchy!

The reason it is important is that this is happening EVERYWHERE, one day it will be exposed wherever you live, be prepared to be very angry.

"BTW- The hand recount was funded by the dems, but since they won the cost is now going to be borne by the taxpayers. SO, if the court declares the election void...are the dems now responsible for the bill?"

TAXPAYERS are going to have to foot the bill because this election challenge is paving new legal precedence and the cost of recouping the recount money outweighs the pursuit of fairness. It will be up to the legislature next session to write a bill dealing with unknowns like this debacle

The one right thing that Sam Reed did was refuse to refund the money the Dem's put down for the recount.

The money the Dem's put down is being kept by the State and will not be refunded if Dino Rossi wins the election challenge! At least that was what I was told earlier.

The loss of the election challenge could be a significant financial problem for the State Democratic party just prior to a November Governor's election race. That is way a bunch of Dem Party big-wigs are coming in to do fund raising this Summer.
