Episode 905 Press Release
A winning season and overzealous parents threaten to ruin the entire summer, when the boys of South Park head to the State Championship in an all new episode of South Park entitled “The Losing Edge,” premiering Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.

The kids desperately want an end to the boring baseball season. The problem is they’ve won so many games that now they’re in the playoffs. Just one loss would mean the season’s finished and they’d be free from America’s favorite pastime for the entire summer.

Didn't find it funny? When that minion character from The Passion was whispering in the politician's ear I thought I was going to need an ambulance!

The Jennifer Lopez one was probably the one that made me laugh the most. It was sick on so many levels. And Lemiwinks. And the Death Camp of Tolerance. And The Rainforest Sucks. Last week’s just didn’t match up with the classics.

For me, it's always been the Nambla episode, Janet Reno as the Easter Bunny, The AFT/2 guys in a hot tub (Charlies Angels) episode, Cartman gets an alien anal probe, the Thanksgiving Turkey revolt, but my #1 (so far) is Scott Tenneman Must Die! It's just wrong on so many levels, and every time you say, "Oh, I can't believe they did that... It can't get any worse," you're proven wrong!

Mark

Oh, and I really like "Jew Scouts" too.

Kyle: Screw you guys, I'm king lesbian.

Cartman: Mom!!!! Kitty's being a dildo!

Cartman's Mom: Well I know one kitty kitty who's sleeping with mommy tonight!

Cartman: Huh?

I like the Simpson's Did It/Seapeople Episode. And Scott Tennerman Must Die! is also a classic. Made you eat your parents. Made you eat your parents.

I remember back in the late 60s, the Atlanta Braves had a slightly pudgy catcher we'd call "Chicken Catcher Torre".

Wonder whatever happened to him?

... but they probably don't know what to do with the money they've got. ;~D

Like the guy that got famous writing "Ren & Stimpy" they get a lot of money, new friends and lots of good, and suddenly the cartoon isn't as important.

Sorry, that's near the top of my list too, as are many other episodes, like "Red Sleigh Down."

There are just too many to list!

I love the episodes with Mr. Hankey.

My favorite is the one with his family.
His alcoholic wife, his son Cornwallis, his daughter and his other son who is retarded because "he was born with a peanut in his head".

I laughed about that for a long time

yeah it became clear to his coach after he took a fastball off the face WITHOUT A MASK during practice and refused to take a play off that he was odd in a good way for a catcher and he's been there ever since. And like you said he is great at getting to that wild pitch faster than anyone expects because he moves like a cat rather than a cow. Between that and his toughness and leadership ability its a good match.

Thanks for the tip by the way, after having him drag me out all this weekend to practice throwing to second we'll have to give that a try. Its the only weak spot in his game (relatively speaking, he's still threw out close to 60% last year as it is)

I agree.

I think it's because this episode was about a current event, whereas those episodes you mention are about hand picked subjects.

I think the line that pretty much sums it up for that entire episode was,

"Don't do that, horsey! He'll like that!"

How about....."you're not from the IRS. You glued my pubes onto your face."

HAHAHA that line by itself will make anyone (who hasnt seen the episode) ask "WTF?!?"

Because we are too short to play first base, too slow to run fast in the outfield, the coach's kid gets to pitch or play shortstop, and we are stocky enough to block the base.
