Here we go again! Every so often, we hear about how a famous historical figure was or is gay: Jesus was gay, Shakespeare was gay, Lincoln was gay. Who else? To paraphrase George S. Patton (also gay), played by George C. Scott (gay), "You all admired the champion marble shooter (gay), fastest runner (gay), big league ballplayer (gay), the toughest boxer (flaming)."
Make it easy on yourselves; why not just give us a list of people you think weren't gay.
The so-called "search for the historical Jesus" is nothing more than a desire to add self-serving paint to the picture.
There are better ways to find out who Jesus really is.
Christ was not a sexual creature. Sure He was both fully God and fully Man, but He had one purpose when He came to Earth and that was to die for the sins of those that would follow Him. In order to be an acceptable sacrifice He could have no sin, to state that He had a sexual nature, much less a homosexual nature, is to deny His deity and the efficacy of His sacrifice, and is the height of blasphemy.
What a follower of Satan will say is predictable. This guy, and the church that supports him are not of the light.

Jesus lead a "perfect" (free of sin) life. Sex outside of marriage is a sin. Even lust is a sin. Homosexuality is also expressly considered sinful. Therefore, Jesus could not have been homosexual. Q.E.D.

I left the Episcopal church over the ordination of women. I used to mourn for the church, but no longer. The Episcopal church is sliding into full-fledged apostacy, assuming it's not there already.
