Ack--found a purported transcript, but it's on larouche's site. I hesitate to bestow any credibility on them so will keep looking. They say they copied down the transcript from a tape.

If I can't find another source I'll link it. At any rate, a heads up to Fox and MRC as they could get their hands on the tape is in order.

I'm headed out in an hour and need to get ready, but when I return I'll send this to some news outlets.

I'd hesitate to link to Larouche's site too :-)

I wonder how quickly HRC will be asked if she agrees or not.

I guess the answer is "never".

Not that she would answer honestly that she does agree...just noting the reporters will not ask her at all.

It's really disgraceful that the MSM doesn't ask the libs any hard questions. It's become so obvious that even my parents, who have for years denied there was media bias, have noticed.

And to think Kerry had the nerve the other day to complain that the reason he lost is because of a hostile press. The man's delusional.

On another thread the other day when someone was lamenting that the cable news stations have gone tabloid, I commented that it's all they have left since the bloggers and pajamahadeens have taken over their jobs for them. LOL

Have to go get ready or I'll be going to a fashion show in my sweats; I don't think they'd let me in the door :-)

I saw the Kerry comments. He and clinton act persecuted when the MSM are backed up against the wall and have to even mention whatever scandal they've been exposed in.

Enjoy the fashion show!

Hey someone who knows what really happened in 1973. I am impressed.

Three more facts to throw at them. Allende created a food shortage by withholding food from the market. People were literally starving. He was bringing in Cuban troops. He ordered that the Chilean national anthem not be sung at schools and ordered that they replace it with the Cuban national anthem.

The last, oddly enough, was what many will tell you angered them the most.

Chile might have been willing to become communist. But they would see the country in flames before they would become Cuban.

Carter and Clinton. Two very stupid individuals....

Stupidity always amazes me and leaves me speechless. I read this stuff and I can't even begin to figure out the world view of these two idiots. And to think they became Presidents...

Even time cannot fix stupid.

Video of Clinton at Davos with Charlie Rose:

http://clients.world-television.com/worldeconomicforum_annualmeeting2005/_S13924.asp#

I'm playing it now and some guy is lavishing praise on clinton as he introduces the interview. This looks like it may be it. Now I'm at the part where the Rose/Clinton interview takes place.

Believe it or not, the country Bill Clinton so admires is the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Here is what Clinton said at a meeting on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, just a few weeks ago: “Iran today is, in a sense, the only country where progressive ideas enjoy a vast constituency. It is there that the ideas that I subscribe to are defended by a majority.”

And here is what Clinton had to say in a recent television interview with Charlie Rose:

“Iran is the only country in the world that has now had six elections since the first election of President Khatami (in 1997). (It is) the only one with elections, including the United States, including Israel, including you name it, where the liberals, or the progressives, have won two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote in six elections: Two for president; two for the Parliament, the Majlis; two for the mayoralties. In every single election, the guys I identify with got two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote. There is no other country in the world I can say that about, certainly not my own.”

And, under the circumstances, a civil war was widely expected (and many Chileans contended was already under way considering Allende's reliance on and sponsorship of various armed groups and the violence they were creating at the street level) which the coupe prevented.

But of course civil wars and insurgencies to establish leftist dictatorships (or ones in any form illiberal and anti-Western, e.g. Islamist) don't count as "wars" to the left, even today. Note the Columbian, Palestinian, Philippine, etc, warmongers that have regularly appeared and spoken at "anti-war" rallies in recent years.

And this is good?

As long as "liberals" or "progressives" win, he doesn't care what the country is?

Am I missing something here?
