There's always the boards with nails in them, then :-)
Well done.
Your intelligence community has totally failed you. You are wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm west coast, still got two hours to go.
> I read this book where the aliens thought they were coming to conquer 11th Century earth technology, but actually landed in the middle of WWII, which wasn't so cool for them.
Harry Turtledove's Worldwar series. A real fun read.
I believe I read that somewhere also.
The French character/scientist in the movie was based on Vallee, IIRC.
No mention of Carl Sagan (yet)....
What about us? Where did we come from?
Google "MJ-12" or Majestic-12 and see what comes up.
Some interesting documents which may or may not be real.
Great post. Thanks.
Jimmy Carter saw a UFO?!?!? Well, that settles it for me.
Now we have another "expert" who says eyewitness testimony is the lowest form of evidence. And another scientist who says all eyewitness testimony is unreliable, regardless of who you are.
The condescension dripping from the voices of these scientists they have on now. Stupid people, who are you going to believe, us or your lying' eyes?
'Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
I cried after I watched that movie. It was too much. When the little boy was taken away, it just killed me. I'll never watch that movie again.
I am skepticle of "government coverups" and "conspiracy theories"
But if it was true, I would also NOT want to know.
I dont know what to believe, I will tell you that this video gave me pause....

"...with the ability to get here."
Maybe it's the ability to get 'now'.
What lies just ahead and just behind us in time? And beyond those 'layers'? Other existences? Is the veil thin, requiring reasonable levels of energy to traverse?
Making sense is forbidden on this thread!
...."Has anyone here seen one?".............
Yes.
Mr. RR and I are both college educated and consider ourselves to be rather sane people. He is an Air Force retiree and I am a retired high school English teacher. We are not Art Bell fans, nor conspiracy theorists.
When we lived in Northeast Wyoming, we witnessed a huge, cigar shaped "something" in a canyon in the Black Hills. It was below the skyline and hovering in the canyon. The moon that night was not quite full, but was very bright. It illuminated the "something". It was rather breathtaking to see. We drove on home quite bewildered by what we had just seen.
The next morning a friend of ours called to say that he had found two of his calves (in the same canyon) mutilated. Mr. RR (who was a volunteer member of the Sheriff's Posse) went out to view the scene. The carcasses of the calves had been evicerated, no blood at the scene, nor any blood left in the carcasses. They were lying in tall grass, which had not been trampled down by any natural predators. Another very strange thing.........there were no insects (flies) on their bodies.
Yes, I believe.
