I am in Roswell, so if I stop posting, you will have had advance warning.

I check in frequently to see if you've been beamed up.

Personally, I'm enjoying the ads for the "Ab Lounge" and "Willie Nelson's 20 Greatest Hits" as well as all the kitchen gadgets.

Okay, get ready to laugh. I believe it is some kind of shell game. We are forced to look at something - UFO's - in one area while somewhere else, the government is doing something else. What is that something else? I believe it is genetic engineering. Trying to create the perfect human, or trying to create things for one specific purpose. Drones and such. Trying to create the super-soldier. Maybe I've read too many comix. Anyway, while people are looking at Area 51 and thinking the government has aliens and such stashed away in there, I think they are working on something completely different in some other area.

I have no doubt that such things are part of the UFO phenomena.

It's full of complexity and nefarious goals and projects, imho.

No, there is plenty of proof.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

There is not an iota of proof. A bunch of people who have seen things they can't identify is proof that a bunch of people have seen things they can't identify.

There is no PROOF of alien visitation. Not a single iota of PROOF. None.

If you have proof, you should share it with the world. You will be a very famous man.

Love the UFO stories, but (gulp) realize its just entertainment...a diversion.

I'm with you, show me the money......not a photo.

p.s. Saw better UFO episodes on TLC & Discovery...ABC's was lamerific.

WHY would a serious journalist like Peter Jennings tackle a silly subject like UFOs?

Because he figures it's the only subject that FReepers couldn't come up with the contradictory evidence that made him do a 'Rather'!

(Was this supposed to be a trick question?)

Ok, this is a serious question. I am not a tin foil wearing, Art Bell/George Norry listener....but what can't things travel faster than the speed of light. What is that a limitation any more than the speed of sound, or the flatness of the earth? Is it just that its the fastest thing we've measured? Just curious.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

proof (prf)

NOUN:

1. The evidence or argument that compels the mind to accept an assertion as true.

2. The validation of a proposition by application of specified rules, as of induction or deduction, to assumptions, axioms, and sequentially derived conclusions. A statement or argument used in such a validation.

3. Convincing or persuasive demonstration: was asked for proof of his identity; an employment history that was proof of her dependability. The state of being convinced or persuaded by consideration of evidence.

You were saying?

There is not an iota of proof.

Sightings:
Night Siege: The Hudson Valley UFO Sightings

Photographic Evidence:
The Gulf Breeze Sightings: The Most Astounding Multiple Sightings of UFOS in U.S. History

Abductions:
Fire in the Sky: The Walton Experience
Interrupted Journey
Communion

In all seriousness, I wish you would stop sounding like a bloody parrot ("No proof! No proof! Squawk!") and admit you have no idea what you are talking about. Especially since everyone already knows that.

Game, set and match.

You linked me to a bunch of books by fellow dingbats, and you believe that constitutes proof.

It would take me about two seconds to link you to books "proving" (by your definition) that Elvis is alive, Paul McCartney is dead, and Bill Clinton was the greatest president in our nation's history.

Game, set and match.

You have definitively established that I am a fool on this thread who refuses to believe that a bunch of alien species run around abducting Iowa farmers, when they're not busy working with the Buildebergers and satan to dominate the globe.

Game, set and match, indeed.

No, I just found it floating around the web. I don't know which is more interesting, the fact that he looks like he's staring at the street lamp, or the microphone nearly sticking in his ear.

That would require the "government" to be decades ahead of public science in the biomedical fields, which is impossible. The government spends billions to remain just a few years ahead in select fields like cryptography and satellite imaging, and we still know about those projects as many aspects must be carried out with private companies, and researchers that have security agreements and the like.

Biology is a much "messier" science than these others, and to jump as far ahead as you suggest would cost trillions, if it were possible anyway, which it probably isn't because, in contrast to something like cryptology, there's too much "interconnection" and mutual dependencies of the technologies and techniques that would be involved. It would involve MUCH larger projects than cryptology, satellite imaging, radars, and the like, and would be totally impossible to keep secret.

Sorry, but if you genuinely consider the examples you listed to be good evidence (let alone "proof"!) then that's just pathetic. The guy that did the Gulf Breeze photos, for instance, has been caught red handed with the models he used to make them! Whitley Streiber is totally unbalanced (a "phantasy prone" personality) as his own books abundantly reveals. Good God, just read the book totally ignoring anything having to with with aliens, and his paranoia and self-confessed lunacy in other areas is obvious.
