"Biggles! Put him in the Comfy Chair! Now -- you will stay in the Comfy Chair until lunch time, with only a cup of coffee at eleven."
This is like putting Al Capone in charge of gun control. What a joke.
UNsurprising.
"Thank you sir. May I have another ?"
Sorry, but panties over the head won't cut it for me...
In cases like this, only extreme violence will satisfy the need for revenge....
Semper Fi
I couldn't have said it better. It is adding insult to real injury with Kofi's comment.
How long do we have to put with these jackasses.
Get rid of the UN...what happened to that movement?
Hey....where are the Germans now with their "war criminals" tribunal?!!!!!
Diplomat immunity is corruption - no accountability.
How about $21 billion dollars vanishing like a poof-cloud and $2 billion going to Saddam Hussein's coffers? BTW, I wonder what Klinton and Teddy Kennedy's share was.
Can anyone say "fall guy"? I knew you could...meanwhile, Koffi and Kojo hide their Oil for Me funds in Swiss banks. They don't have to worry about their funding their retirement years.
Zoot's running the UN?
From If the Oil for Food Scandal were a Country...:
"A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money."
The above quote is attributed to Sen. Everet Dirkson; however, the UN has taken the concept to the absurd extreme.
Since the inception of the UN Oil for Food (OFF) in 1995, it has collected 100B USD of Iraqi petrodollars for redistribution directly to the Iraqi people. At least that's how it was supposed to work on paper. To put that number in perspective, that's approximately 11.1B USD per year. The OFF program generated more money than the annual GDP of all but 87 nations. For example: the OFF program is a bigger economy than those of Iceland, Uruguay and Tasmania.
With allegations that Saddam skimmed up to 20% or 2.2B USD per year from OFF, that amount is still bigger than the annual GDP of 43 nations. That list includes the economies of Aruba, Eritrea, and Mongolia. [/snip]
....Mr Sevan,... , denied the allegations and said he was being made a political scapegoat.......
Great, let's hope it gets really ugly, and he spills the beans on Kofi the Klown!
o swap out his desk made of koa for one made of bubinga.
o he only gets to use the mercedes ML350 instead of the S600L stretch.
o move his parking lot space about five spaces further from the entrance.
o cut his percentage in food-for-tsunami-victims scam from 1% to 0.3%.
and of course the cruelest punishment of all...
o send him back to his country of origin for vacation rather than cannes.
Didn't someone in "Kooki" Annan's family have something to do with this scam? Like his son-in-law? What's in store for him? And shouldn't Kooki also be "disciplined"?
Bet Koffi will like it. Seems like the type.
Well Gosh Golly Gee ... ain't that nice of Koffee to lift diplomatic immunity
Lifting diplomatic immunity at the UN doesn't happen very often
It's more like Koffee letting the guy take a fall in hopes that it stops there
This guy is long gone and out living the high life on the money that he scammed from the UN oil for food program. Good luck on bringing any of these creeps to justice since they are not US citizens. Maybe we need to send out one of our "snatch and grab" teams and bring him back here to stand trial.
