31) "Many of you are well enough off that...the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." -- Hillary Clinton
Keep this on file for 2008. The woman's nuts.
3) "I root for hurricanes. When, courtesy of the Weather Channel, I see one forming in the ocean off the coast of Africa, I find myself longing for it to become big and strong--Mother Nature's fist of fury, Gaia's stern rebuke. Considering the havoc mankind has wreaked upon nature with deforesting, stripmining, and the destruction of animal habitat, it only seems fair that nature get some of its own back and teach us that there are forces greater than our own." -- James Wolcott, Vanity Fair Contributing Editor
He must still be celebrating the trunamis.

No. 6 is staggeringly evil. Wait until the child who lived is old enough to understand. He (or she) will certainly feel guilt that his two siblings were killed and he lived. What will he think about mommy? This is one of the single most evil acts ever.

"On the subway, Peter asked, 'Shouldn't we consider having triplets?' And I had this adverse reaction: 'This is why they say it's the woman's choice, because you think I could just carry triplets. That's easy for you to say, but I'd have to give up my life.' Not only would I have to be on bed rest at 20 weeks, I wouldn't be able to fly after 15. I was already at eight weeks. When I found out about the triplets, I felt like: It's not the back of a pickup at 16, but now I'm going to have to move to Staten Island. I'll never leave my house because I'll have to care for these children. I'll have to start shopping only at Costco and buying big jars of mayonnaise. Even in my moments of thinking about having three, I don't think that deep down I was ever considering it." -- Amy Richards, an abortion rights advocate, describes her decision to kill two of her babies, leaving her with a single baby, instead of having triplets There is special place in hell for this self-centered bitch.

Did you know this about Ann Richards before? Ugh. Did she do this because the doctors didn't think ANY of the triplets would make it or just because she didn't want to care for three kids?

How about that despicable Wolfe guy who said to the Brigadier General Brooks........WHY DO WE HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU....WHERE'S YOUR BOSS.

Did you know this about Ann Richards before?I hope you are not thinking it is Ann Richards, former governor of Texas. It's just some random chick in NYC.

I'm numbed by that sickening woman. I immediately thought about the recent story in Indonesia where the mother of a two-year-old and a five-year-old was holding them both while she was desperately trying to keep the three of them above water while her husband watched helplessly from a second story window. In an instant she had to take a decision no parent should ever face.
She decided to let go of her five-year-old so she and the two-year-old would have a chance to survive - thinking that the older child would stand a better chance on his own than would his brother. Miraculously, they all survived
But for this Richards woman, who through selfishness has decided to kill her children out of a fear of inconvenience, I cannot understand such a mother. I am not a twin, but I have known several sets in my life. They always seem to have an unspoken understanding between them. What a theft she has perpetrated on her surviving child.

Well, let's take him up on it. The very next cat 5 hurricane we have, let's make sure this guy is having a hurricane party on the shore when it arrives.
But what he really wanted was other people to die, other people to have their loved ones killed, other people to have their homes and treasures destroyed. Not him. He just wants to watch it on the Weather Channel.

I'm flabbergasted by this: "The obstetrician wasn't an expert in selective reduction" SELECTIVE REDUCTION!?!?! Maybe someone will perform selective reduction next time she's in a crosswalk (no, I don't really mean that). What a vile human being (if she indeed is human)...

I was thinking that :-(
Only responding to my pings and didn't read the thread. Without going to the thread and link, I know the article you're talking about.
That woman fretted that she wouldn't be able to do fun things if she had 3 kids and so decided to do selective reduction. May she and her doctor rot in he!!.

4) "Republicans don't believe in the imagination, partly because so few of them have one, but mostly because it gets in the way of their chosen work, which is to destroy the human race and the planet. Human beings, who have imaginations, can see a recipe for disaster in the making; Republicans, whose goal in life is to profit from disaster and who don't give a hoot about human beings, either can't or won't. Which is why I personally think they should be exterminated before they cause any more harm." -- The Village Voice's Michael Feingold, in a theater review of all places LoL, Sweetie. You and whose army? We're the ones with all the guns. Bring it.

Yes, but the sentence befor that is even better:
I looked at Peter and asked the doctor: ''Is it possible to get rid of one of them? Or two of them?''
Crosswalk. Not a bad idea.

36) "OK, I'll predict that the rapture's coming and you and I, Chris, are going up, and all these hypocritical conservatives who tell people not to do stuff but then they get caught doing are not." -- Maureen Dowd on the Chris Matthews show Not only bigoted, but shows the usual lib lack of familiarity with God's grace. If hypocrites weren't allowed in Heaven, none of us would be going, but fortunately the blood of Christ covers ALL sins.

#35 frosts me. Apparently he has never read the Constitution or listened the the POTUS' oath of office. Wife and I manned the designated solicitation area at our precinct -- the local high school. Because of the hurricane days, the youngsters had school. One of the maggot infested long hairs kept trying to put up a sign that said 'Where's my democracy, Dude?' Another who hasn't read or at least comprehended the constitution.

I'd like to see him strut around Punta Gorda, Florida with "I Root for Hurricanes" printed on his shirt. The locals would make him feel real welcome.
