I live surrounded by almond orchards. Some of the best wine in the world comes from over the hill. There is a chocolate factory in the next town. No problem here...

Can I come for a visit?

You can come for a llama hug. It's even better than chocolate. LOL!

Merry Christmas!

The secret to a healthy life: chocolate, almonds and wine,...

Why no mention about the benefits of increased Cayenne uptake?

Oh, I forgot, no corresponding wine industry lobbying and advertising groups ...

"CAPSICUM"
BY DR. JOHN R. CHRISTOPHER

- When the venous structure becomes loaded with sticky mucus, the blood has a harder time circulating; therefore, higher pressure forces the liquid through. Cayenne regulates the flow of blood from the head to the feet so that the pressure is equalized; it influences the heart immediately, then gradually extends its effects to the arteries, capillaries, and nerves (the frequency of the pulse is not increased, but is given more vigor).

- CIRCULATION?Warming; dilating; specific for varicose veins; equalizes the blood pressure in the arterial and venous system; equalizes;

- Capsicum supports the natural beat (rhythm) of the viscera and interior actions of the glandular, circulatory, lymphatic, and digestive systems. It has been used with great success as a cure for spotted fever (?); the most active stimulant to support and re-animate feeble or exhausted powers.

These rules are the result of the Golden Calf incident involving the Israelites after they were freed from slavery which were issued as a punishment.

God gave us permission to eat all animals when he spoke these words to Noah.

Genesis 9:3
Every creature that is alive shall be yours to eat; I give them all to you as I did the green plants.

Sounds good!

I am going to start adding Cayenne to my food, chocolate, almonds and wine. ;)

Seriously, I didn't know there are quite this many benefits to Cayanne. And it has the advantage, that you can eat it and still be around people, unlike with garlic.

Fortunately I do like hot, spicy food.

Deep sea fish doesn't have it. I eat tuna 4-5 times a week. LOL, I had a test for mercury and on a scale of 0-15, I was a 2. So....

Big tuna person here too, and I think we just were told last week not to eat it more then twice a month@@

Yup, I saw that. But, it hasn't anything to do with your health...it's to save the tuna.

There are certain things that grow that would just not be too good for us. Poison ivy and certain mushrooms like night shades are not good to eat. God did not intend for us to eat of certain things, He expects us to use our common sense that He gave us. Certain animals are scavengers, they would not be healthy for us to eat. God used certain birds, animals and creeping things as His version of disposals. They eat garbage and turn it into useful "fertilizer". Pigs, dogs, buzzards and crows and bottom feeding fish are examples of garbage disposals. You eat food, but you would not want to eat your garbage disposal. God does the same things in nature.

Here is a link to a good article on the subject.

That's why God made us with livers to take care all of that.

I agree with you. I also believe your blood type gives a hint of what kind of diet is good for you. Blood type "O" gets along just fine with high protein diet such as red meats. Type "A" should avoid animal fats.

In my own case (type "O") I feel great when I start out with a high protein breakfast (Egg, yellow cheese, cream cheese on whole wheat toast). If I eat a sugary high carb cereal breakfast, I feel tired by noon.

Eat Right for Your Type
by Peter J. D'Adamo, Catherine Whitney

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/039914255X/104-6628580-0855100?v=glance

If you've ever wondered why the latest fad diet doesn't work for you... well, there are lots of reasons, mostly the fact that it's a fad diet. But it could also be that you're the wrong blood type for the kinds of foods the diet recommends. Peter D'Adamo makes a persuasive argument that your blood type is an evolutionary marker that tells you which foods you'll process best, and which will be useless calories. He covers the entire range for each of the four blood types, from entrées to condiments and seasonings, and also makes type-specific exercise and lifestyle recommendations.

Product Description:
New York Times best seller
“I found the information in Eat Right For Your Type absolutely fascinating.”

- Christiane Northrup, M.D., author of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom
