ooooooh ... I feel a New Year's resolution comin' on!
Deep sea fish doesn't have it. I eat tuna 4-5 times a week. LOL, I had a test for mercury and on a scale of 0-15, I was a 2. So....
it is "based on mathematical models". they should really test the diet out in a real experiment before making these statements.
God doesn't want us to eat pig products. Pigs have the cloven foot but don't chew the cud.
Lev. 11:2... "These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth: 3Among the animals, whatever divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud--that you may eat. 4Nevertheless these you shall not eat among those that chew the cud or those that have cloven hooves: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 5the rock hyrax, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 6the hare, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 7and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 8Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. They are unclean to you.
The point is - why spend the last 20 years of your existence in and out of hospitals?
Good eating and exercise go a long way to achieving a decent quality of life in later years.
OK Doc.........Thanks !
Ya ever pass through the Panhandle of Texas we have a great 72 ounce steak that is really good for ya ............and free if ya eat it all !
Stay safe !
Maybe they could also exercise and lose weight.
Maybe why it's only 4X per week instead of daily? That's what popped into my mind as I read it.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
As long as you wash them down with red wine!
Looks like it improves the quality of life, too:
"Based on calculations using mathematical models, Franco and his colleagues estimate that people who combine these ingredients into Polymeals may have a 76 percent lower risk of cardiovascular problems, and spend many extra years of life with healthy hearts and blood vessels."
And don't you consider eating chocolate almonds and sipping wine, LIVING? ;)
bump
